Well that was short lived...
Seriously, we really do want you to post people... Saying hi is great, but Viktor and I can only post so many random things. I'll excuse Vik for not posting because he has a long term project that's taking up his writing time, but really, we want your brains...umm...sorry, that's stories.
In all seriousness this site is intended to give an advantage to writers who actually need constructive criticism, so the bigger sites like fictionpress are often not helpful. Even if you've stopped writing or don't want to be a part of the community anymore pass the information to new writers or anyone who wants help developing their skills.

Though we've gotten people back there haven't really been any actual submissions, so I'm proposing the idea for another short story contest. Anyone with suggestions or interested in participating in one of those just post a reply and we'll work out details. Just as something to sort of get the actual submissions to the site started again, and fun while we're at it. |

This is mostly from me, but for old times sake I'll say Vik is behind it as well. I've sort of said this in another post, but just in case you miss that I want to repeat myself. Planegate isn't dead, or at least I'm not going to leave it. So if you're stopping by just for the heck of it leave a post, I'll answer you. Stories are still welcome, art is appreciated, and poems are awesome. I miss you all and really hope that someday this site starts itself up again.

So, since this is a literature site where people are supposed to post the things we write I thought it might be a good idea to post the link for NaNoWriMo here. If anyone's wondering what the heck I'm talking about (or reading this at all) that stands for National Novel Writing Month, and it begins November 1st. The idea is to try and write 50,000 words in a month, but without any excessive focusing on proofreading, more of a 'go with the flow' kind of writing experience.
The website is nanowrimo.org for anyone who's interested. I miss you guys. Please come back. It's getting lonely on this little one person site of mine... |

I'm sorry for the long delay and eventual confusion, but I sense it is necessary to keep PlaneGate alive. Therefore I have re-opened this site for the hope of continuing the community.

I have secured a new address and location for PlaneGate.
Don't panic. The setup is very similar, and adjusting to the new forum should be easy.
There is now a full website- the forum is a page in it. There is an interactive and helpful menu.
I also offer to create an account for you and transfer all of your fiction over.
Simply post if you wish this. I will give you the account once the transfer is done.

Caia and I are taking a few days to go see the lovely islands of Cape Cod  so we won't be around for a few days.
