WoW is a horrible game and anyone drawn in by its "lush graffics," "awesome storyline," or "kickass battles" should be ashamed. In all seriousness, I've tried the trial and it was horrible. I'd suggest EvE or Guildwars (Or ask Krim how CO is doing) long before WoW. But if you don't take my advice make sure you take the trial account first with WoW. (any MMO.)

I had friends who tried to pull me in. I refused. I am better off that way.

And my MMO slot is reserved for the Secret World because that game sounds raw

Seriously. Just think of a character. Any character that is reasonably humanoid in shape and under 20 feet in height. I give you a 99.99% chance that it is possible to make a replica of that character in Champions Online. In both appearance and, in most cases, even powers.
