Welcome to the forum. This place is run a little different then WBs, but hasn't been running for some time. I'm trying to revive the life around here.

I may be ignorent or something but what is WB? (other then a lame channel/station/thingy on tv)

Its a lame place I stumbled on and started an RPG there. I didn't realize the average age of the members is 13.

At anyrate, most of the WB users that have followed me here are looking for the rebirth of that RP.

I guess the forums might be confusing to someone who has never used a forum before.

Right- names are so off the wall no one can comprehend them without studying the whole forum in detail.

What, you have a problem with the forum?

I just can't get people to keep posting here. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I'm looking for everyone I can find.

I feel I'm overstepping my reach, but so be it. You asked, you shall receive. So here are some of the things about this forum that I have issues with. And unfortunately, they are all design issues.

The names of the subforums dont exactly flow well with each other. It feels as if you've gone out of your way to be a bit too creative and different and forgot about comfort and ease of use. Catchy names are wonderful, but have a common theme to them, and let the names be fairly self explanatory. The forum titles under California are wonderful, they work well. The "High school of Death" section is a bit confusing though. I have never heard of "Seven Tentacles and Eight Flames", nor do I know the reference. Thats just an example I am pointing out. Ask yourself the following question, "Will my grandmother be able to figure out the navigation of this site?" If the answer is no, then it is very likely that realitive strangers on the internet will not be able to either. You want the website to be easily navigated.

Next up is the color. Now, I understand tha this forum has Pink in the name. That does not mean, however, that the whole site needs to be colored in shades of pink and red. Mellow it out, give it a bit of a cleaner feel. The added bonus of a simpler look is more people can access the site more often. Your office surfers who might multitask and post on this site while at work have to switch to a lo fi veiw of the forum to keep from getting caught, and that takes away a lot of features that would otherwise be overlooked. Again, you want more people on this site, you have to give them a site they enjoy.

Last thing- Know what you want out of this. If you truely want a place where everyone can freely express themselves, then try working on your customer service a bit. "What, you have a problem with the forum?" is worded just so that my first impulse was to close the tab on my browser, then delete any future emails from here. I realise this is your baby, but you have to be open to new suggestions and excercise a little discretion in what you post on it. No rational person is going to argue with the creator and administrator of a forum for very long. There is no point in pissing off someone who can edit and delete at whim.

There, that's my answer to your question. I'll be interested in what you have to say in reply.
