I just wanted to stop into the forums and take a moment to thank the folks who were involved in making Phoenix ConGames such a great event.
To Ivan and Mary and their "family" of "Gaming Mafia" for creating the event. I was so glad to get a chance to attend the "Meet the Staff" and hear about how PCG got its start and see a little "behind the scenes" glimpse of the con's heart.
To Dave and the Wrecking Crew for facilitating my presence at the Con.
To Guido for helping make sure all my and my family's needs were more than met. Organizing folks to jump rope with my daughter was the highlight of her con - Thank you so much.
To the other Guests of Honor who I had the opportunity to hang out with, it was fantastic to see you all again. (And to those who I hope I'll cross paths with in the future but managed to miss meeting this year.)
To the dealers in the exhibitor's hall, who were to a person friendly and supportive (not to mention having a /great/ selection of things on which to deplete my wallet!)
But most especially to the folks who attended PCG. My demos and panels were filled with awesome people and interesting conversation. The Women and Gaming panel was fantastic, and the Writing for RPG panel was filled with folks eager to learn more about the industry. I wish I'd had time to run a dozen more during the weekend. Thanks for everything, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again in the future!
