Though her title is now Admin Personal Assistant, dear Fyrelli is affectionately called Adminslave, and for good reason. Our most esteemed Weyrlingmaster and catch-all for all the little tasks that come with running a weyr, Fyr has singlehandedly managed to help keep Pern:Broken running fluidly. On top of her amazing help, she has an unflaggingly cheerful attitude following her always. A faithful member, a devoted and talented writer, and a good friend, Fyr is just one of those the weyr is proud to have in it. Stables
A small building opposite the feeding grounds, so as not to attract hungry dragons, lay the stables, where the mounts of runner owners are housed, as well as those of visitors of the Weyr.

From the weyrbowl, you can see the mouths of the caverns reaching up the steep walls of Fort Weyr, occasionally dotted by the colors of the dragons at their ledges.

Barracks
A large structure on the ground level of the weyr, the Barracks house the future of Fort Weyr. Candidates and Weyrlings bed down in the lavish comfort provided by the weyr's considerable wealth.

Bathing Springs
Unlike the bathing pools in the weyrs, this building nestled not far from the candidate and weyrling barracks is not just a simple place to get clean for most. Divided into two sections, the east wing of the large facilities is a homely area for captives without a weyr to bathe and get clean. The west wing, though, is made for riders and pets. Lavishly decorated, with steam rooms and pools, this wing is staffed with those talented in the art of easing the stress of the body, as well as having the finest oils and scents on hand. Those skilled with hair and color can work here preparing captives for a formal event, or simply tend to the weyrpets that come to relax. Riders can come to ease hurting muscles, or to take a moment's rest with their wine and friends. A spa for some, a necessity for others.

Lower Caverns
Underground beneath the high rock walls of the weyr runs the lower caverns, a network of tunnels that hold the weyr's stores of just about everything. From food to weavers cloth, you can find anything you need. A few of the larger caverns below ground house the sleeping quarters for any unclaimed Weyrgirls and drudges as well.

Kitchens
A wide mouthed cavern halfway up the high walls of Fort, the massive kitchen is made up of two parts. The first is for everyday use, including the workspace for the kitchen staff in the very center and to its left, a small dining hall for every day use. To the right is an equally large chamber, ornately decorated and used for weyr-wide feasts and meetings called by the Weyrleader.

Infirmary
From minor wounds to life threatening illnesses, this wide open cavern opposite the Hatching Sands is the place for all injured riders and weyrfolk alike to mend. Amazing high walls hold every sort of healing instrament and herb imaginable, with beds for humans and two wide side caverns for wounded dragons, each able to hold a queen comfortably.

The Nursery
A whimsical place for children and a safe place for weyrgirls if they become nursemaids, the Nursery is a good, safe section of the weyr. All children are confined to this area.

Hatching Cavern
The black sands of Fort Weyr's Hatching Cavern are a beautiful thing, transformed under the labor of hundreds of men to go from a single cave to almost a showroom. Stands rise up from either side of the cave like an arena, and the upper ledge remains open for dragons to watch the happenings of what goes on below.

Feeding Grounds
A massive high plain whose geography keeps the ever expansive herds natually in their designated space. Any dragon may lounge on the high hills or small plateaus while picking their meal.

Victory Lake
A large blue lake, whose temperatures vary from warm in the heat of summer, to freezing over in the winter months. Chilly in spring and mellow in the fall, its clear waters beckon dragons and human alike to relax beside it.

The Firestone Pits
Old mine pits line the outer edge of Fort Weyr's lands, and though they seem silent, there is always firestone waiting in the dark. A'talon is ever vigilent of the skies should thread return, but for now these pits are mainly for intimidation, should a raid be called for. Candidates and Werylings are known for breaking the rules and exploring the now silent pits.

Fort Hold
Just southeast of Fort Weyr lies Fort Hold, one of the many holds in what remains of the old Pern that A'talon conrols. A'talon's home hold, he often shares with the inhabitants the surplus riches from raids and tithes of other holds that he has gained control over, in return for things that only Fort Hold's tithes can offer him. Fort Hold exports include corn, potatoes, grains excepting rice, mushrooms, and a very small amount of wine. Crafthalls of Fort are the Harperhall and the Healerhall.

Southern Boll Hold
A tropical region below Fort Hold on the peninsula, South Boll is a place of relaxation and guilty pleasures. This Hold is on the best terms with Fort Weyr because they do not care what the weyr does; in fact, human trafficking to Fort Weyr has added a major boost to Southern Boll's economy. This place also is famous for its glass and ceramics, tropical fruits, spices, wicker furniture, chicken, fish, rice, fruit liqueurs, gemstones, metals, cloth, and tea. Halls include the Weaverhall and Minecrafthall.

Ruatha Hold
North of Fort Weyr lies the famous Ruatha Hold. The Holders are unhappy with the situation at Fort Weyr, but are willing to tithe to A'talon and play along for the sake of their people. Due to the Beastcraft Hall being located here, Ruatha's main export is meat, hides, and animals. Ruatha is also extremely famous for its runners: Fort Weyr's runner breeding program runners are all from here.

High Reaches Weyr
The ominous ridges of the now empty High Reaches Weyr, to the south of Fort itself, beckon to those that dream of freedom.
