I pick both, my religion doesn't contradict science, and vice versa.

We know what happens when people die:
They die.

A simple answer to one of life's great questions.

Seriously. If somebody were to come up to you and tell you that an invisible thing controls every aspect of your life, was always there, made everything, has a plan for everything, can edit anything in the world and that you had to believe in it... Would you?

Hehe I just got a comic in the newspaper. (Charlie Brown)

Kid: Lucy doesn't believe in the Great Pumpkin..
Kid: She doesn't believe that on Halloween night he rises out of the pumpkin patch with his bag of toys for all the good little children of the world!
Charlie: Lucy doesn't believe that?
Kid: No..
Kid: I can't imagine what has made her so blind!

The hardest thing for me to grasp about life in general is where stuff came from and how from nothing, stuff got created. I know my religion says that God made everything, but when I think using purely science, I wonder why anything exists at all. Its kinda creepy.

Some questions are indeed useless and only contraproductive.

Although we always wish to know why the universe exists, even if we knew, it would be useless knowledge.

I've examined the text very carefully and after seeing that no human has ever been able to create 10 verses in the same style as the qur'an, I assume that it couldn't have been written by a human. That and the fact that it contains scientific knowledge centuries ahead of its time.
