This episode is presented as a DivX Dual Audio file, featuring commentary by series creator CJ Ambrosia (Danny), Philip Bodkin (Burt), Adam Albert (CRAP) and James Donovan (Dr. Snidely).

While I don't seem to have the multiple audio problem, Ep.25 doesn't seem to play more than 8 seconds under WMP or MPC. On QT, it is full length, but is too unstable to watch. (Stuttering) I dont have the ability to intall VLC at the moment. Is there something wrong with the file, or just my codecs?

If you're having trouble with the divx version, try the low res version for now:

:o That was without a doubt the most entertaining, stupendous PEDS I have ever watched! You guys and gals way way outdid yourselves this time! And that music was perfect -- all of it! You really should put together a soundtrack CD and sell it.

I'm blown away. I don't know what to say. I'm going to go watch it again.

Edit: I just watched it again with the alternate audio. THAT WAS GREAT! I loved the commentary!! When you got to the end and started talking about the last song (love it too) I was hoping you would say who sang it. Is that Phil singing?

You guys are having too much fun! There ought to be a law against that! :D

OCTOBER ?!?!?

Great show guys (and gals). I was expecting a little more action, but my expectations are meant to be shot down. There definitely should be more use of the second audio tracks in the future episodes. Maybe get the girls in on the commentaries next time.

Have a GREAT summer. NOW GET TO WORK.

@Fleef: Thanks. That is indeed Phil Rice singing the song "Remember When" in the second half of the end credits - if you remember, this song was heavily featured in Eps 20 and 23. Great piece of music there.

One more thing about the music that I forgot to mention in the commentary - the episode is actually bookended by what I call "Snidely's Theme". I used it in the beginning for the recap, but if you listen to the low violin during Snidely's dialog at the end of this episode, you'll hear it's the same theme for the first eight bars, with a second line adding some counterpoint before it goes into a brand new theme. Just a little thing that I thought was really neat. ;)

@KT: Sorry to disappoint you about the action ratio, but I feel its a good blend of comedy, drama and action throughout the entire episode. I hope to keep this ratio similar when we get to doing Season 3. But I'm glad you liked it otherwise. And we'll be getting the girls on commentary, but probably not until the end of the season - it's hard enough to schedule our cast for getting the show dialog done.

Thanks for the comments!

I am extremely confused. When I first tried to watch it, the video was upside down and there were multiple audio clips over top of each other and then when I tried to watch it again it was a 5 second clip of Jessica saying "Previously on PEDS"...WTF...

My normal media player ( BSPlayer Pro ) didn't play this either (this was the very first file I couldn't open), I used another media player I've heard a lot about - the free open source VLC media player - since I didn't want it take over the file associations for anything, I used the 'minimum' installation settings - it worked great - get to the alternate commentary sound track in the Audio menu

A normal Hi Res version is being uploaded now; should be ready in about 6 hours. Sorry for the trouble, but aside from using Stage 6 (which is decent, but the codec stinks), this is the only way to get dual audio into an AVI.

As KT mentioned (Thanks!) the VLC Player does a fine job with this, and the newest DivX Player works as well, though I had problems with my other players after installing it, so be wary. As a side note, this DOES play correctly in my set-top DivX player (Phillips DivX Ultra Player), so if you have one, burn it to a CD, load it up and use the Audio button to switch streams.

If you just want to watch the ep though, the Lo Res works perfectly fine.

Edit: The normal Hi Res DivX is ready:

Also, here is the Morgan Stream Switcher, which should solve your problems with WMP and dual audio files:

Hi.
I've just registered to this fourm. I have been a long time watcher of PEDS and love it. I get my PEDS episodes through iTunes. When will "Endgame" be avaible from iTunes?

Kuiosikle - July 11, 2007 05:42 AM (GMT)
Oh man, that'd be my fault. Sorry about that guys. Kinda dropped the ball there. I just uploaded it so it should appear in iTunes by tomorrow. :)

I love Sara! http://kuiosikle.com/vids/trampoline.mpg
