*There were so many people in the palace today. It was dusk, and the coronation had just ended. It was now time for the feast and ball. Amid the crowds of Towne folk, a violet haired beauty was weaving her way towards the glass doors leading outside to the veranda with a glass of a bubbly drink held lightly in her hand. As she walked outside, a cool breeze met her and ruffled the bottom of her dress. It was one of the few dresses she ever wore, Veilchen really rather preferred pants. But this was an official event, and she had to follow tradition. That tradition would soon be changing, of course. But tonight it would stay. Veilchen glanced around mildly, taking in her new home and the people around her. She hadn't been home to Palomar in many years, and had come back to take the throne because her family had disappeared. Not that she really cared much. They weren't the ones that had summoned her. Her cousin Miranda had sent word to Veilchen from her tavern in Towne. Veilchen casually glanced around, seeking the face of her beloved cousin. Miranda was found inside the doorway flirting with the relatively handsome man from the bakery. Veilchen just smiled and shook her head and let her gaze move on. Soon she found herself gazing up at the slowly darkening sky, watching as the first few stars appeared. It was going to be a lovely night.*

Pulling her white hood closer to her face, Lucia watched all the people. From what she had gathered this was a coronation ceremony or the end of it. The people had gotten a new queen after the ruling family had disappeared. Lucia found that fact slightly disturbing and odd but this was a strange land and sudden disappearences might be natural. After all her own people did not truly die but simply became more monster like after each death or they gave up their mortal bodies to join those in the sky. Quickly Lucia moved away from the crowd, her full-length white cloak covering her feet and masking her body from curious eyes as she began to walk away. Glancing up she saw violet hair, the young woman who it belong to was beautiful. Lucia studied her for a brief moment, that had to be the queen. Trying to remain unnoticed Lucia continued to walk away, wanting the quietness of her snow-covered mountains.

She stayed in the corner, trying to hide her wings. After a moment she gave up. She walked around, how this seemed weird. It was ceremony but she was not quit sure. She looked around looking at everyone; they all looked the same to her. But one person caught her attention. It was a girl in this white cloak covering her head to toe. It was weird to see a girl alone away from people. She turned her attention to people laughing, but it was nothing. She looked outside and saw a girl with violet hair. She looked at her carefully, thinking this might be the new queen. She backed away from everyone back to her dark corner, one again trying to hide her wings, but she kept her eye on the girl with violet hair.

Sitting in a treetop overlooking the veranda he spoke not a word as he watched the festivities of the night take place. Never having been one to interact with others he kept his distance using the shadows to his advantage. The only evidence of his presence was the ever glowing redness of his cybernetic left eye, A reminder of his foolishness when he was young. Turning his attention away from what was happening inside he noticed that another had just come out through the doors he had been watching a moment earlier. A violet haired young woman who carried about her a sense of royalty, this must be the new queen of the land. He watched as she stared off into the night sky.
"It's a wonderful sight isn't it, the stars shining brightly and the moon illuminating all around it with such a majestic glow." Turning his gaze to look up at the sky himself. His cybernetic eye still plainly visible showing any smart enough to look where he was. "Such a calming thing it is."

Pheonix Star enter the ball room clad in red dress unaware of the occasion looking around at all the people, there were so many of them and it scared her, she waled cautiously around the edge of the room carefully watching the people unsure of what they might do, unsure if any were friendly. Carefully she found her way around glancing away briefly she found herself running into a white cloaked woman and stepping back. "My a-apologies!" She cried taking another step back as she looked up at the woman, oh no, what had she done this was bad, she bit her lower lip as she looked around, no one had noticed, she looked back up at the woman her heart racing in her chest along with her mind trying to figure out what to do. "I-I'm sorry!" She said shaking a little, terrified, she was ready to fight or flee if it came to it.

*"It's a wonderful sight isn't it, the stars shining brightly and the moon illuminating all around it with such a majestic glow." Veilchen's eyes slowly followed the sound as the words met her. Her sight caught on a bright red light, and as her vision adjusted, she saw the vague sillohoute of a man in a tree. "Such a calming thing it is." She lifted her drink to her lips and took a quiet drink, her mind already making decisions about the man. He was not attending the party, but instead was up in a tree nearby the party. That told her that he wasn't much one for crowds. Very well, niether was she. The red glow appeared to be from his eye. She had only seen this sort of thing once before, it was called cynetecs, or something. This told her that he had been in battle. Well, the kingdom had been in turmolt while her father ruled, so she could understand that. And the man acknowledged her by talking about how nice the night was. This told her... well, not much. It hinted that he was a person fond of nature and night. Which made her smile on the inside. She stepped closer to the tree, and followed his gaze to the sky.*
"Aye, that it is. The night has always been a comfort. Is that what brings you out here?"

"Aye, that it is. The night has always been a comfort. Is that what brings you out here?"
"Some would say that, im not much of a social person. The night is peaceful to me, it drives away all the things i don't like to remember and fills me with a sense of serenity."
He looks toward the queen once more. "As you have no doubt noticed my eye tends to make people avoid me. It's a curse im forced to live with sadly though." Looking down at the ground for a moment sadness plainly visible on his face. His mind drifts to his past for a few moments before his face goes back to serious and he looks at her again. "So what do i owe the privilege of your presense this evening my lady. If you don't mind my asking that is."

*She watched as he spoke, sipping her drink here and there. She ehard him speak of his curse, and saw the sadness loom over him momentarily. She felt a pull on her heart and placed a hand lightly on his lower leg.*
"We all have our curses. That is what draws us all here, and that is what makes us all the same."
*Finished speaking, she let her hand fall, and took another sip. Her chef was getting a raise, this was a most decident choice of beverage. She returned her attention to the man in the tree, as he was speaking again, asking her a question.*
"I don't do so well in crowds myself. I have my past to blame for that, I suppose. I came out here for the crisp air, the space, the moon..."
*Her voice trailed off as the moon caught her eye again, and she was transfixed for a moment. Then she subtley shook herself and turned toward the man in the tree once more, and gives him a gracefull curtsy.*
"I don't believe I have properly introduced myself. My name is Veilchen Chuva."

She looked away, is there anything to do here? She thought. She moved from her dark corner, and then started walking around. She looked back at the girl with the white cloak; a girl ran into her, she looked scared. Lana frowned; it brings back so many painful memories. She looked away quickly so she wouldn’t have a vision of the past, but it was too late. She sees a girl running from something. She follows, and then the girl runs into someone, “Oh sorry.” The girl said quickly and backed away so she could get a view of the person. The person was a man; he was much taller than her, and older. While the man was about to say something her vision went away. Her eyes were mixed with blue and purple. She looked at the girl outside, and looked past her, to the blue sky, how it sparkles like nothing you have seen before. Then her eyes where normal, the dark midnight blue always made her calm. She looks around, maybe I should I help that girl? She thought. As she walked toward her something was on her mind, but she pushed it away. As she walks closer she stop and turned her head to feel the cool breeze on her face, the wind also made her calm. She looked forward again, and walked slowly toward them.
