Rules

Do not register if you don't plan to make an application, High schools may only be juniors and seniors

1. Post at least six sentences per post. We're not asking for a novel, six sentences is easy enough to do 90% of the time and it's not actually that much. No one-liners, I absolutely can't stand it when someone posts ten words and you're supposed to actually reply to that. Describe things if you get stuck. Scenery, appearance, that stuff. Just try and aim for at least two paragraphs.

2. No powerplaying. Don't harm someone else's character without their consent. Don't do anything to them without permission. It's not fair and you don't have any right to do so. How would you like it if someone beat up your character without your knowledge?

3. Be respectful to other players, everyone has a right to an opinion and a right to play in peace. No bitching - if there are fights they will result in people being asked to leave. If everyone is picking fights with everyone else it's really not fun. The purpose of us doing this is to enjoy it!

4. No graphic swearing, sex, violence etc. We get the idea with a decent amount. I'm not saying no sex, no swearing etc, just not too much. Also if you want to deal with death, pregnancy, etc. you need to PM an admin and they will discuss it and get back to you as soon as they can. If you plan on having any sexual scenes you must warn in the title or first post, if it is unexpected (which we do know happens) just PM an admin and we will add it to your title.

5. Please ensure that your posts are well written - good language, good spelling and punctuation etc. It doesn't hurt to spell check and proof read before you press Post. Copy and paste them into Word if you need to.

6. Please keep your signatures at around 450x250 and have only 1 per account. You may have up to 6 100x100 Icons as a signature. That's plenty and it doesn't slow down the site. We would like to have each character to have an avatar & signature people are available to make them if you cannot. This helps others know what your character looks like.

7. Cannon and original characters accepted. No more than 5 characters per person without permission. You must have 30 posts on your most recent character before you can make another. For every 2 females, you must have 1 male. I know you might not want to play any guys but on most boards we do end up with more girls than boys and that's just no fun for anyone unless the characters are all lesbian.

8. Please make your usernames actual names, e.i. Jennifer Smith rather than allOVERit.

9. When posting use the right tense, which happens to be third person view; she/he instead of I unless stated otherwise. Tag all of your posts any posts not tagged can be entered by any character, and do not enter a post your not tagged to unless you have member approval.

10. When posting adverts please link back to this board or at least ensure that your links section is guest friendly. Your ad will be deleted if you're in violation of this rule. There shall be NO advertisements via Pm, if I hear of any you will be warned, and if you continue to break this rule you will be suspended. Pm an admin if you receive an advet via pm.

11. Please reserve your avatars until your application is finished. Unfinished applications will be removed if uncompleted in a week. Once you have been approved, please do claim your face or someone else will take it. It happens a lot and gives the admin a headache! also you may not rp anywhere in the site until your application has been accepted. (Keyword is Singer Island)

12. Please don't use personal images as avatars - use real actresses, actors, models, personalities from TV and the media etc. Please be realistic, this is a college based site, which means you shouldn't have Dolly Parton, or Dakota Fanning as your face claim, unless the age permits.

13. If you haven't logged in for a month, new members will be allowed to claim your face claim. Please keep active. That is the only way for certain to keep your face claim. This rule is being added since some members have sort of disappeared. And if you're one of those members who notice someone who haven't logged in for a month and want their face claim, please pm a staffer about it and we will be happy to take off the old claim and put you in. But in order to see that you have read the rules about this, please link us to the user who has the face claim first. Also, make sure to say rule 13 on your appy and which staffer you talked to.
