The warrior ducked the roundhouse kick and took the punch to the chest. He rolled back and got back to his feet in a matter of moments. Had Andros actually managed to make it through his defenses, or had he allowed the Red Space ranger to hit him. He didn't look terribly injured by the punch.

He looked around at all the space rangers and nodded slightly, as if coming to a decision. He bowed to all the assembled group, almost as if in respect, then he got back into his fighting stance. Despite his attacks on Zhane and destroying the morpher, the fighter seemed careful to not cause any permanent harm.

He’s fast! Too fast!! Ashley’s eyes open slightly wide, as the mysterious fighter had disappeared at the precise moment of the energy blasts. His movements were too quick and fluent, that neither of the two could prevent their friend from being forced into submission nor the returned fire, using Zhane like a human shield. Clutching onto the Astro Blaster tightly, Ashley dove towards the ground in the opposite direction. Even though dodging the attack, she could feel the heat of the blast streaking over head.

“I’m all right” Ashley replied reassuring when Andros glances over her direction for a moment. Moving into a kneeling position on one knee, Ashley brought one hand to brush off the dirt from her face and stowed the Astro Blaster back onto the side of her waist. What happened next had her stunned for a moment. There now lying on the ground was a damaged morphed and de-morphed Zhane, standing in front of them. What caught her attention afterwards that instead of following up by attacking a de-morphed Zhane, the fighter resumed the fighting stance awaiting their next action.

Zhane made a run over to where she and Andros were still standing on the sidelines watching. The other fighter just remained still keeping his fighting stance.
"Guys we have a problem, we need to find the source now or else he is going to catch up and then we are dead. My morpher is gone."

Andros put his hand on his friend’s shoulder. “Calm down Zhane, we can fix your morpher later. We’ve been in far worse situations then this. We may not know what all is going on here but doesn’t mean we start to panic.” Ashley gave a slight nod in an agreement. It was better that only his morpher had been damaged instead of bodily harm made upon him. “I don’t think that our mysterious friend here would even give us even a chance to do so.” Obliviously the others must have been observing them, while in the process of their search. Though she couldn’t have been ever the more grateful, and quickly stood back on her feet.

“He doesn’t seem to be the talkative type.” Andros commented as he moved into position in front and in the middle of the group. He began to speak low to that his friends could hear him but hopefully the mystery fighter could not.

“He’s moving to fast for us to hit him morphed or unmorphed and he obviously knows how to disable our morphers. I think we should avoid giving him the chance to do it again for as long as possible. Besides we still have other tricks we can use.” Andros pulled out his communicator phone in his pocket enough for the other former Rangers to see. “We may not be able to hit him but we still have the strength in numbers to put him on the offensive. If we attack at once and get him to that clearing over there then we can fire the Mega Lasers with a wide enough shot to give him no room to run. That should hopefully take the fight out of him.”

Andros gave a quick look around to make sure the others all heard and understood the plan. There was no time for debate in planning right now. If his idea failed and someone had another idea he would be all ears but right now this was the course of action Andros thought best. Not giving another word Andros took point and charged towards the enemy with a roundhouse kick to his head. He tried to think fast and fluidly after the kick attempt and made a punch at where he thought the fighter was going to dodge before he would back flip out of the way to give one of his teammates the shot at trying to hit the strange enemy.

“It is almost like….if he was testing us. He may not even speak unless we face him first.” Ashley noted to the others and moved over quickly watching Andros take the lead. Her eyes drifted back down to the Astro Blaster upon her waist. Rather that statement was true or not, had yet to be proven. It was now time to put that theory to the test. Ashley’s right hand drifted back down towards the Astro Blaster.

TJ, still with Andros' morpher in his pocket was getting more than a little frustrated. Why were they all still standing around? They had a mission to complete and this guy, whoever he was, was in the way. He agreed with Andros though, that they couldn't take him alone. Waiting for the others to be ready, TJ launched himself forward, unmorphed and attacked the strange warrior as quickly as he could manage. Deciding that hands were faster than feet he struck out with both of his fists, trying to break past his defenses.

Carlos was right behind him, choosing a spot to the man's left. Even though he was generally an honorable fighter, Adam had taught him that, in cases like this, you had to make an exception. He struck low, trying to take the stranger's feet out from under him and put him off balance.

Cassie, catching on that now was the time to move, spared a glance for Ashley before moving in to join the attack. Finding the places where her two team mates had left openings she tried to fill in and drive him back further. She didn't think it was going to be enough.

Zhane angered by the man who destroyed his morpher ran to the side of the man and performed a front kick trying to break his ribs. Zhane said while throwing the kick," I hope you like the sound of shattered ribs." He threw the kick with his teammates.

Ashley lifted her head in time to notice Cassie starring in her direction and gave a slight nod in recognition, joining in the attack. It was best not use the Astro Blaster for the risk of hurting the others in the process. "Cass! I'd say we double team him." smiling more confidentally. "He want us at our best, so we'll give it too him."

Andros’s first attack failed as the enemy dodge his foot but his following punch managed to connect with the mystery man’s chest. Andros moved into a fighting stance as his opponent fell back from the punch. So their opponent was definitely not invincible, Andros had managed to connect with him. Andros had no idea however how much the punch had hurt his enemy. The hit had not hurt Andros so at least he did not have any kind of armor or shielding that they had not noticed.

Andros watched as the man turned to face his friends as they moved in for attack. This enemy was a strange one for sure. He had made it painfully clear that he was here to fight yet seemed to be going out of his way to be a fair combatant. The fact that he remained silent this entire time only added to the confusing mystery about just what he was up to there.

He watched as TJ move in with a serious of furious punches at the enemy. Carlos then came in from the side striking low in an attempt to trip him up. Cassie moved in attacking the nearest opening she could. Zhane charged in from the side trying to land a devastating kick to the fighter’s rib cage. Ashley gave up on firing her astro blaster and ran in to perform a double team attack with Cassie on him.

Andros taking his queue after the other’s attacks ran into the fray and leapt into the air with a sweeping kick aimed at the mystery fighter’s head.
When he landed back on his feet Andros stepped back letting the others move in to attack as he tried to calculate the position. Quickly glancing around the area he noted they just need to move the opponent about a foot more to the right to get him in a clear enough area to make the wide shot with the Mega lasers. Andros was a little worried about how much damage the lasers would do to their opponent, but right now they needed to hit him with as strong a hit as they could. And the ship’s lasers were the strongest hit they had without morphing, if they could just get him in range.

The warrior steadily moved and legs in a blur of movement, blocking each of the attacks in order. First he moved his hands to block TJ's punches, then he raised his leg up to block Carlos' attempt at a trip. Even on one leg, the fighter held his balance easily. He then moved his arms to block Andros' kick, but that pushed him closer to the strike zone. He managed to save his ribs, but he was definitely pushed back from the force of the kick. Cassie's and Ashley's double team pushed him further towards the open area, then, blocking Andros kick, one of his feet moved the necessary distance to get him partially in the open area.

However, his block of Andros' kick allowed him to grab Andros foot and keep it raised in the same kick position that he had blocked. One of his fingers raised and pointed skyward and the man shook his head, almost as if saying, "Nice try, but not this time." With that he twisted Andros leg and forced the alien ranger into the open area instead.

Finally, the man who had been on nearly constant defense swung onto offense. He moved fluidly and rapidly, using fighting techniques never before seen on Earth, hitting hard but not hard enough to cause any serious damage, just enough to push back and perhaps knock off their feet. As he attacked TJ, though, he blurred behind him, grabbed his arm, and slammed it down on the ground as he had to Zhane. There was a crunching noise as TJ's morpher was detroyed.

The warrior slipped back and stood ready again, but he also had an item in his hand now: Andros' morpher. Having grabbed it from TJ, he calmly swung it around into a tree with a smash. The Space Rangers were down to three morphers. He stood at attention, giving them a formal bow before moving into another fighting stance.

Zhane looked and said," What is your plan Andros?" Zhane then thought and said," This man definitely wants are ranger morphers destroyed." Zhane then said," Andros I think we should just get back to the ship and leave, are morphers are not items that can be easily repaired." He then thought and said quietly," Lets just make a run for it, I say we shoot the ground and in the smoke we retreat."

Falling back from their double team maneuver, Ashley watched as another morphed was easily destroyed like a child’s play toy. What Zhane indicated that the fighter was solely focus upon the removal of the morphers alone, then rather cause physically harm. Why? That was still a question coming first in her mind. At their current rate, they would no doubtingly tire themselves out in this game of cat and mouse. Shifting into another defense position, breathed heavily for a moment and look at the others, then at Andros.

Slythra and her three minions teleported into the satellite communication center. She was behind the battle and the space rangers backs were to her and her minions. To her delight, none of them were morphed. The 6 rangers had their full attention on Zaxx. This couldn't be any easier.

Quietly Slythra gave orders to the dark-skinned demon. "Grab that one," she said pointing at TJ who was in a position to be taken from behind. She then turned to the two serpatrons. "Get ready to attack on my signal," she commanded. The serpatrons had little intelligence and would not grasp a complex set of instructions. They were just cannon fodder anyway. All she needed was for them to create a distraction and add to the chaos.

The serpatrons and demon moved into position. Slythra had her eyes on the pink ranger. The yellow and red rangers were not in a good position to get a surprise attack on. Quietly she slithered behind a column. The pink ranger was the furthest back and in a perfect position to be grabbed. Slythra struck swiftly once the other's attention was back on Zaxx. Clamping a hand over Cassie's mouth, she yanked the pink ranger behind the column.

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh," Slythra said, digging a clawed nail into her arm and dragging it slowly across her flesh. Cassie struggled furiously, but went limp after a moment. Then, Slythra pushed her head forward squeezing her neck with the hand she had just used to deliver her paralyzing venom. Her other hand stayed firmly clamped over Cassie's mouth preventing her from calling out until the pink ranger was completely unconscious from lack of air. The other 5 rangers had failed to notice her take Cassie out.

Slythra set the incapacitated pink ranger down out of sight. She then made her way in the shadows away from her and positioned herself behind a different pillar so she would not reveal the location of the downed pink ranger. "Now," she called out.

Slythra moved quickly to strike at Carlos making a quick claw attack. She managed to put a nasty gash in his arm before he ever saw it coming. The two serpatrons made their way past her and Carlos to attack Andros and Ashley. Zhane was busy sparring with Zaxx. Meanwhile, the demon creature put T.J. in a bear hug just as he became aware of the sneak attack a moment too late.

[Washington, DC]

Ninjor's console beeped and the monitor flared to life, showing him the scene playing out with the now-former Space Rangers, Zaxx, and Slythra. His eyes widened, and he knew that if he didn't act soon, Slythra would make Andros and Ashley into one of her minions. He could tell that the two of them were tired as they fought the Serpatrons.

"Gotta pull them out now."

He worked furiously at a computer, extrapolating positions, coordinates, latitudes and longitudes, thinking the entire time how much easier things used to be.

[San Francisco]

The serpatrons slowly but surely get the upper hand on the two Space Rangers that they're fighting. The loss of power seemed to be getting to Andros and Ashley. But before they could make much more headway, they were teleported in two flashes of bright white light, leaving the Serpatrons confused and looking back at Slythra for direction.

Slythra saw Ashley and Andros teleport away. "Cowardssss," she hissed. She thought Power Rangers were braver than that. The yellow and red Space Rangers had abandoned their friends.

"Get that one," Slythra yelled pointing at Carlos. She ripped the morpher off of Carlos's wrist and smashed it. She turned and Slithered towards Cassie and ripped her morpher off of her wrist too and dropped it to the ground and crushed it. She didn't want the rangers using the devices to trace where she was. Slythra then scooped Cassie up.

"Let's go," she called to the demon. she vanished a moment later. The demon cast TJ aside and scooped up Carlos. A moment later he too vanished with the serpatrons leaving Zhane and an unconscious TJ alone to face Zaxx.

(OOC: Sorry this all was a bit rushed but we need to advance the story and this has been sitting idle for too long now.)

The warrior looked in surprise as Slythra and her minions appeared and attacked. He clenched his fists in anger as the unconcious rangers were teleported away, then as Slythra kidnapped Cassie and Carlos, leaving him alone with Zhane and the unconcious TJ. Despite being covered from head to toe, the silent warrior's angry breathing was easily heard and his fists were fairly trembling with rage. He shook his head and finally spoke, though his voice was muffled and hard to discern through his disguise.

"This was not the way..." He bowed quickly to Zhane before he vanished as well, leaving the former silver ranger alone with his comrade.

Slythra would pay for interfering. The warrior's anger was not easily ignited, but also not as easily quelled, and Slythra was the focal point for this.

Zhane saw the man vanish then looked at the unconscious TJ and started to shake him trying to wake him up and said," TJ come one we have to get to the ship." Zhane started to collect the broken morphers and then picked TJ up and carried him to the ship. On the ship Zhane gave the morphers to Alpha and asked," Alpha we need to repair these morphers, start working and repair mine and TJ's first since we are still here." Zhane took a breath and said," Now I am going to take TJ to the infirmary then I will start the ship, we need to get out of here, oh and I will try to find out where the others are."

Everything happen in a swift motion that Ashley was barely given any time to register their friend was missing the new snake-like arrival, as the foot soldiers ran towards them in amazing speed. Amongst the blur of attacks and counterattacks, Ashley snuck brief glances when she could at the other Rangers. Everyone was present except for Cassie.

“Cassie?!” Ashley shouted in hopes that she would reply, but alas, there was nothing except for the sound of the cries and grunts of the struggle. Though turning around to face her opponent, the blonde girl was dealt a surprisingly blow knocking her onto the ground. As the creature rebound, Ashley moved quickly into a defense stance. The serpatron that delivered the attack rebounded towards raising its left arm as it drew more closely.

From Ashley perspective, watched as the soldier approach ready for another round only to feel an energy coursing through her body. The very same feeling upon teleportation. The serpatron was the last thing that she saw before being encased in a column of white. Someone had been watching and decided that it was best to pull them out.

The man in the SUV didn't have any trouble finding the right place this time. I mean...how hard could it be to find a giant space ship. Unfortunately, no one was outside of it. His orders detailed that the two remaining Rangers had returned there. And it wasn't like you could just knock on the door. The vehicle's engine turned off, and an army clad man got out of the passenger seat. He held up a device and spoke into it. The small box amplified his voice more than any microphone, but directed the sound towards the ship alone, as not to cause undo suspicion.

"This is the US Army. We are here to take you to help. Please exit the ship, with your friend immediately."

After landing and seeing the military arrive. Zhane exited carrying TJ on his shoulder and Alpha came with the broken morphers that Zhane could retrieve and as he got out. He saw the military was ready for TJ so he helped TJ jeep and he then walked over to the commander and walked with Alpha and said," Sir we had trouble completing the mission, but we need your help." Zhane took a breath and then said," We need some of you top engineers to help Alpha here repair all the morphers in this case, it is vital that they are fixed." Zhane handed the case to the man and looked at Alpha and said," You are going to go with them and they will help you." Zhane smiled as he turned to the man and said," Two of are members are gone, two were kidnapped, and TJ was knocked out, but he will be fine, and I am sorry to say, but we are the only ones active at the moment." Zhane then waited for the commander's reply.

TJ had flown into unconsciousness so quickly that he hardly knew what hit him.
"Get that one," he heard the vile-looking woman say, and she was pointing at Carlos.
"No!" TJ yelled before falling into unconciousness.

When the military came to pick him and Zhane, he was being carried out of the Megaship by Zhane.
"Thanks for saving me, Zhane," TJ said. "But is it necessary to carry me? I'm fine, really."
"We need some of you top engineers to help Alpha here repair all the morphers in this case, it is vital that they are fixed." he heard Zhane tell the army people who were present. "Two of are members are gone, two were kidnapped, and TJ is wounded I am sorry to say, but I am the only one active at the moment."
"Ahem." TJ said. "I'm fine. Honestly."

TJ knew Zhane was just trying to be safe. He would probably be doing the same thing. Even so, TJ couldn't help but wonder whether Zhane was feeling OK or not. Zhane put TJ down and was immediately put into the SUV.
"Hey," TJ said impatiently. "I know how to get into a car by myself!"

The man accepted the case, but did not respond other than to put it inside the passenger door. He waited for the pair to get settled before he spoke.

"I'm not authorized to make any of those decisions. You will have the opportunity to discuss your situation with my commander once we reach Rescue Ops."

Sliding into the passenger seat, the private waited until all four doors slammed closed and drove away, still saying nothing more than was necessary. They would reach the desert base in roughly four hours.
