[INT - Rescue Ops - the Next Day]
After a long night's worth of both activities and sleep, the Zeo Rangers and Galaxy Rangers all spent the day trying to get used to one another, training and continuing on with their teamwork together. They also helped as much as possible trying to pin down their teammates lost to the forces of evil.
The Rangers were all in the cafeteria taking in an early supper and socializing, when an aide came running into the cafeteria, practically jumping out of her skin to talk to Tommy.
"Sir!" the aide shouted, standing at attention next to him.
Wow, I don't think I will ever get used to this, Tommy thought. Being a leader was one thing; being a leader on a military base was an entirely different way to go. He thought about how Kim must've felt during her tenure, and then got a little remorseful about her absence. He shook it off, though, and addressed the aide.
"At ease, before you snap something. What's up?" Tommy asked.
"You have to come quick, sir. The lab thinks it has narrowed down the location of the base where the captured Rangers are being held," the aide said.
Kira sat up in her chair and looked at the young aide.
"How many locations have they narrowed it down to?" Kira asked.
"Two, ma'am. Captain Mitchell has requested your presence right away."
"We'll be there in a minute. Thanks; you're dismissed," Tommy said. He looked around the cafeteria for a moment, making sure that they couldn't be easily overheard, and leaned in. He waited until the rest of the team did the same. It was kind of an issue as far as space went, but all the same, he felt that it was important they hash out a plan before going to Mitchell. He also felt it was important that the Rangers know he regarded them first.
"You guys know I'm all gung ho on this Rescue Ops thing, but I want us to make the plans this time. If we really do have to split up, we need both teams at full strength," Tommy said to the table.
"Zeo's easy enough, plus you have me as a wild card," Kira said.
"True enough. Here, Tanya," Tommy said as he slid the Yellow Zeonizer to her across the table. "Welcome back to the team."
"Not to tell you what to do or anything," Kira said, looking at TJ, "but there are a couple of perfectly viable Ranger candidates sitting around here, and it wouldn't hurt for them to be on your team," she finished, her eyes flashing to Carlos and Kat.
"We need an extraction strategy. Something that will help us when the time comes to pull the others out. But we can't just go in blind, and we can't go in guns blazing. We've tried both things before and it hasn't exactly worked. We need to come up with something... teleport tags, maybe, so we can get them out as soon as possible. I am open to suggestions," Tommy finished, looking around at the Rangers gathered at the table.

Adam sat next to Tanya enjoying one of the few moments of down time they were able to have with their friends and teammates. While their situation was still grim Adam could not help feeling that over the last few hours since the former Space rangers had arrived that things were starting to feel better. There was a sense of hope in the air now that they were all working together a hope that all the recent setbacks had almost destroyed. It was starting to feel like old times again, that no matter what the bad guys pulled out they would find a way to win.
He looked over towards Tommy as the aid came over to him saluting. Things like that were still hard to get used to. Going from a teenager with a secret identity to part of sanctioned military operation was still a big leap. He imagined it was weirder right now for no one more then Tommy as both the rangers and the military were looking at him to lead.

He listened carefully to the information being given to them now. This looked like just the break they had been waiting for. Adam was ready to jump into action but Tommy was motioning for everyone to move in close to talk. Adam leaned in a bit towards where Tommy was across the table from him.
| QUOTE | "You guys know I'm all gung ho on this Rescue Ops thing, but I want us to make the plans this time. Here, Tanya," Tommy said as he slid the Yellow Zeonizer to her across the table. "Welcome back to the team." |
“You say that as if she hasn’t been stuck with us this whole time.” Adam joked as he turned his attention to his wife smiling at the sight of her reunited with her zeonizer. In truth the first thing that Adam thought was that it was about time. It may have been a bit childish but the simple fact was that Tanya owned those powers as the rest of the original Zeo rangers had claim over their own powers. It was still weird to have different people with the blue and pink powers. Having someone else bare the uniform his wife wore when they first became friends would have been worse than watching someone else using his green ranger power. A feeling which he realized Kat must have been going through at the moment. Sure compared to all the other things going on in her life recently having someone else take up her mantel has probably been the least of her concerns. Still Adam could not help but sympathize with his friend and what she must have been feeling.
Adam listened as Tommy went on to discuss the possible strategy and asking them for advice on what they must do. He waited for some of the others to voice their opinions about the subject before he threw up the concern that was on his mind.
“There is one problem if we split up the teams no matter what plan we make.” Adam started his hand moving to the dagger strapped to his belt in the new holster he had gotten to hold t he weapon in. “We only have one weapon that we know can permanently stop the monsters. So there is a good chance one of the teams is going to have to rely entirely on their speed and stamina to get through this. This will be even harder if we run into another situation where our friends that we are trying to rescue are the monsters that they’re facing.”
---------------
Andros had been sitting at the table between TJ and Ashley tinkering with his damaged Astro Morpher. The damage done to the device we mostly cosmetic, there were only a few bits of circuitry inside the morpher that were permanently damaged. Unfortunately without the Astro Megaship and with only Earth technology fixing those parts could take a while.
His attention like that of the others was pulled towards Tommy as he spoke to the aid who came rushing in announcing that they had located two possible bases for their enemies. Andros fought hard to keep himself from getting over excited and rushing to conclusions. His efforts did not stop him from jumping immediately to his feet as the aid left. Thankfully before he could run off he was pulled in closer with the others as Tommy wanted to discuss quickly what the groups should do.
| QUOTE | | "Not to tell you what to do or anything, but there are a couple of perfectly viable Ranger candidates sitting around here, and it wouldn't hurt for them to be on your team," |
Andros nodded his approval to TJ at the suggestion made by Kira. Of course there was no question Carlos should be back on their team. It was less him taking someone’s place then it was him taking back the spot that should have always been his with their team. Kat was more of a wild card. Andros did not know the young woman personally only her ranger record which of course was exemplary. Still it seemed odd that Tommy would not want her back on the Zeo team she was one of the original members off. Especially when it would play to both teams’ experience and strength more for Zhane to rejoin them and let Kat back on the Zeo team in whatever uniform they chose. Perhaps when they had more time to discuss it he would make that suggestion Andros thought.
| QUOTE | | "We need an extraction strategy. Something that will help us when the time comes to pull the others out. But we can't just go in blind, and we can't go in guns blazing. We've tried both things before and it hasn't exactly worked. We need to come up with something... teleport tags, maybe, so we can get them out as soon as possible. I am open to suggestions," |
“Well we cannot make any full plans until we see where the locations we are looking at are and what we know about them.” Andros started trying not to take a decision making position. He was not the leader of the Galaxy team, TJ was. However like TJ had always been able to do with him Andros was going to give as much strategic advice and share his ideas with the others. “However we do have two advantages that we did not have before. We have two teams working in synch with each other, and we have two bases at our disposal. It may be helpful for us to split teleportation duty between the two bases either by location or specific assignment. As far as going in blind if time and location allow it we could send one or two rangers there to scout it out first before we act.”
Andros listened carefully as the others discussed this suggestion and threw out any of their own ideas or concerns. His attention was caught when another aid came running in to address them.
| QUOTE | | “Sir, we have breaking news, A monster dropped a seriously injured boy in the park, He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries like he'd been beaten. We don't know who he is. Mitchell has sent someone to the hospital to find out more but he could be one of the missing Lost Galaxy rangers." |
Andros was taken fully by surprise with this new revelation. The description of the victim led to an easy conclusion if it was indeed one of theirs. “If it is one of ours it could be Andrew or possible Ume if they have the description wrong. But why would a monster have taken them to a hospital? Whatever the case we need to find out what they know as soon as possible.”

How greatly not only Tanya was included in the activities of becoming familiar with one another, the training sessions and strengthening their teamwork had appreciated the time with her family. Having been present as the last remaining dark hold around Kat lifted and afterwards watched the two loves in her life (Adam and Tyler) bonded even more made the decision easier. What added to that smile now apparent across her face how very close they now seem like those many years ago (only with both new and old faces). Another side not to this observation that Tommy’s more ration thinking revealed was taking their situation more clearly than before, definitely more communication and seeking suggestions from his fellow teammates. What came next was something that had been lying on the very tip of her tongue, but was beaten right to the punch.
| QUOTE | | "True enough. Here, Tanya," Tommy said as he slid the Yellow Zeonizer to her across the table. "Welcome back to the team." |
| QUOTE | | “You say that as if she hasn’t been stuck with us this whole time.” |
Tanya shook her head smiling back not only for Adam’s humorous remark, but for the hidden meaning behind his smile from an earlier conversation they shared in private. “It feels great to be back instead of watching from the sidelines and helping someone not get rusty” teasing her husband, then brought her attention back towards Tommy “Thank you”
“How does it feel?” Ashley asked out of curiosity
“Quite good actually”
Ashley smiled understanding (more deeply than from what she could view on Tanya’s face), watched Andros try once more to work on the Astro Morpher during the time moment. From her view it seem that he managed to fix what was repairable, but the rest need the necessary items found only on the Astro Megaship, patting his arm reassuringly
| QUOTE | | “Sir, we have breaking news, a monster dropped a seriously injured boy in the park, and He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries like he'd been beaten. It was very uncertain that if this one recovered was indeed one of their own, but Ashley kept aiming her hopes high that it was indeed either Andrew or Ume, even accepting the logical reasoning behind Andros’s questionnaire. “It definitely seems something is awry and should be notified, while we focus our attention. I have to agree with Andros’s by sending at least two would draw least suspicion and if needed we can lock onto their position.”

TJ entered the cafeteria with a small yawn. As impressive as this place was to him, he couldn't help but find it breathtakingly boring. It seemed like there was nothing to do but train and eat and sleep. Also, he couldn't help but feel awkward around the other team of rangers, bar Zhane. They were all older and all had more experience in being a ranger. Were he, Ashley and Andros in their way? Were they just some kind of tool to them? TJ soon shook off these feelings, realising how stupid they were. Those rangers picked Ashley and him to continue their legacy... so there could be no way we were a waste of time.
| QUOTE | "At ease, before you snap something. What's up?" "You have to come quick, sir. The lab thinks it has narrowed down the location of the base where the captured Rangers are being held," "How many locations have they narrowed it down to?" "Two, ma'am. Captain Mitchell has requested your presence right away." "We'll be there in a minute. Thanks; you're dismissed," |
TJ listened intently. This could be the big break they were looking for.
| QUOTE | | "Not to tell you what to do or anything, but there are a couple of perfectly viable Ranger candidates sitting around here, and it wouldn't hurt for them to be on your team," |
TJ looked over to Andros, and nodded back to him. It seemed more and more each day they were on the same wavelength of things. TJ continued to listen to the suggestions when suddenly another person came in.
| QUOTE | | “Sir, we have breaking news, a monster dropped a seriously injured boy in the park, and He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries like he'd been beaten. We don't know who he is. Mitchell has sent someone to the hospital to find out more but he could be one of the missing Lost Galaxy rangers." |

| QUOTE | | “It definitely seems something is awry and should be notified, while we focus our attention. I have to agree with Andros’s by sending at least two would draw least suspicion and if needed we can lock onto their position.” |
"I also agree," TJ said. "And I think the two should be out of me, Ashley and Andros. If it is Andrew or Ume, and its not a trap, they'd be more likely to speak to us and let us know what happened rather if some people from the Zeo team went."
-----------------------------------------------------
Zhane had decided to skip the get-together at the cafeteria and was in his room. He was sat at the table, looking at the ring he had shown Karone, hoping she would take it. He sighed and picked it up. He looked at it for a few more moments before throwing it in the bin. He looked out of his door and saw an aide going past, an assertive and slightly worried look on his face. Zhane immediately felt something was up, and began following the aide.
Zhane ended up in the cafeteria, where the aide approached Tommy.
Zhane continued moving until he was next to Andros and stopped. He decided to stay silent throughout the conversation for two reasons: one was because he wasn't the talking type of late. The other reason was he was too busy trying to formulate a plan, hoping to have the time to discuss it with TJ or Andros before anything was done.

Tommy took everything in. He wasn't incredibly excited at the new wrench that the hospitalized person threw in, but at the same time, he was grateful for the possibility that one of their teammates was returned to them. He decided to take a moment to consider the possibilities. As he thought, Kira looked at him, an eyebrow raised in question. He shrugged and gave her a half-grin, letting her know that he wasn't entirely committed to an idea, one way or the other. There were two locations, both no doubt incredibly well-fortified, that they had to investigate. Unless he found the most likely one out through intuition or something, their attacks would have to either be staggered, or they would have to be down a couple of people. He also didn't want to split the teams up further. Morale over their captured comrades was already at an extreme low.
Kira decided to offer her assistance, although with TJ leading, it wasn't really her place.
"I think it's a good idea if the whole team goes to the hospital," she said to Tommy, barely above a whisper. "Then they can leave from there, plus if it is a trap, they're all there."
He nodded, and she reached under the table and squeezed his hand. She had an idea of how this was affecting him, and how stressed out he was trying to find his captured friends.
"I think we shouldn't split up any more than we have to," Tommy said aloud so that everyone could hear him. "Kira had a good point and I agree: if an entire team goes to the hospital, there will be more people there to handle it if anything goes wrong or if it's a trap. After that, the team can head to the other suspected location.
"We do, however, need to figure out some way to communicate while we're there, though. If Galaxy goes to the hospital and Zeo finds the base, then you guys don't need to take a wasted trip somewhere else." Tommy looked at Andros. "Do you have any of that high-powered communications stuff that we can use?" he asked with a grin.

Adam placed his hand on Tanya’s shoulder as she looked over her returned zeonizer. He was not sure how it would be to fight alongside his wife as opposed to the friends they used to be but he could only imagine it being a huge benefit to the team as a whole and to his own confidence. Especially when he took into account that while he was still getting used to working with the others again and some for the first time both in and out of fighting situations, he had never stopped working with Tanya. This was a good change that was all there was to it.
| QUOTE | | "I think we shouldn't split up any more than we have to, Kira had a good point and I agree: if an entire team goes to the hospital, there will be more people there to handle it if anything goes wrong or if it's a trap. After that, the team can head to the other suspected location. " |
“Strength in numbers always was one of our best weapons. Which is odd when you consider their numbers are always twice or three times ours. Must just be quality over quantity.” Adam commented with dry humor to the suggestions made by Tommy and Kira. He still did not like the fact that they only had one weapon to stop these monsters. Being the one who wielded it actually made him feel worse. He simply could not be in two places at once. If something was to happen to the other team, something that he and the dagger could have prevented Adam was not sure how he would deal with that guilt.
This was a problem that they would have to fix, and soon if they wanted to have any hope of stopping this evil army. Of course how was a question Adam had no idea of the answer too.
---------------------------
Andros gave a nod of his head to Zhane as he joined them in the room during the discussion. It was no surprise to the alien that Ashley and TJ were in agreement with his thinking. They were friends and they thought along similar lines. That was the thing that made them such a good working team. It was easy to develop short hand with people who were on the same page as you. On the other hand Tommy and that Kira girl seemed to be in the same book but on a different chapter from them.
| QUOTE | "I think it's a good idea if the whole team goes to the hospital, then they can leave from there, plus if it is a trap, they're all there." After that, the team can head to the other suspected location.” |
Andros hated to admit it but he had actually been more concerned with those base locations then seeing who was in the hospital. Was he becoming that hardened by this relentless fighting? Or perhaps he was just falling back into his old patterns and mind set. A solo ranger going undercover and spying on an enemy base, that was definitely his way of thinking before he had become part of a team. While it was a sound strategy given the situation it was simply smarter to use all the team members available to them now. It was also more important to see if it was their friend was in the hospital or not.
| QUOTE | | "We do, however, need to figure out some way to communicate while we're there, though. If Galaxy goes to the hospital and Zeo finds the base, then you guys don't need to take a wasted trip somewhere else. Do you have any of that high-powered communications stuff that we can use?" |
Andros nodded his head to Tommy and gave him a small smirk. “Not as much as we used to.” He raised his wrist with his galaxy morpher. “We have communicators built in. I’ll give your people the signal code in exchange for the ones you guys use and we should be able to keep in touch.”
Andros thought for a moment about the discussion before continuing. “You are right we shouldn’t be going into any possible threat without as many people as possible, and from the sound of things this hospital situation could be as dangerous as either of the possible enemy bases. However there are two locations that we need to investigate and it wouldn’t be right for our team to leave yours holding the responsibility for both. I think that there are enough of us here that we can split up properly for three destinations to have a strong enough groups sent.”
Andros said looking around at the group of fellow power rangers. He stopped on TJ’s face, looking for a sign of approval from his team leader on his suggested strategy. Andros then looked back at Tommy to finish his comment. “First things first though, we should go see where it is we are talking about it going before we make any final decisions.”

Drawing away from the yellow zeonizer, Tanya’s eyes drifted towards her husband’s supporting touch toward Adam’s face. The gleam within his eyes revealed how different it would be for them to be fighting along besides each other compared to their earlier years. Having passed the mantel over to Ashley, Tanya continued to work along side Adam all the same with new responsibilities not only as a married couple, but as parents as well. Resting one hand lightly above his returned the smile, following his stare towards the group. It was natural now to sense what was on his mind and squeezed tightly.
| QUOTE | | "So what did I miss," |
Releasing her hand from Adam’s, Tanya’s head spun around quickly towards the all too familiar voice that spoke addressing those gathered within the room. There standing with a full smile was a fully heal and recovered Kat with no traces of the transformation. It had taken all self-control to keep herself from running and giving her best friend a hug making sure that this was not an induce dream caused from worrying if Kat would ever awaken.
| QUOTE | | "It's bad... isn't it," |
Rubbing Adam’s shoulder, Tanya rose back onto her feet and excused herself from the table. “In a nutshell? Aside the usual of the world and different universes in peril? Not too much, except reunions of old and new faces pulled together in one room.” It was official; some of her husband’s humor had brushed off a little. “Don’t worry, you’ll get the whole run down about what’s what.” reaching out finally welcoming Kat back with a friendly hug “Not to mention few things that I owe you an explanation, but that can wait” guiding her over to sit with them. -----
Having leaned forward crossing both arms on the table, Ashley glance over her shoulder taking note of the familiar face as well. They could use every once of help, but hope that it would be a wise action of having one out of recovery back into the fry. Then again much to her chagrin, Ashley had a feeling the others would more than likely done the same. She included.

Zhane continued contemplating over the plan that was formulating in his head. If it was going to work, though, he would need to ask some questions. He leant over to Andros. "I just thought of something," he whispered, "be back in a second."
Zhane then began leaving the room, flashing Kat a short smile as she entered. He continued walking down the hall, determination in his eyes, looking for Miss Fairweather.
------------------------------------
TJ spun around to see Kat enter the room. He immediately thought of Cassie, oddly, and how she would react to see the person who personally picked her to be a Power Ranger; however, he felt that just because Kat entered they all shouldn't just drop what they were doing but focus on the task at hand.
"Tommy," he said, "is there anyway that we can set up any kind of surveillance before getting to these locations? It may give us some idea of whether or not they're traps."

"The hospital's easy enough," Tommy said. "We just tap into their closed-circuit security cameras. As for the rest of the stuff, well, I don't really know. We probably have satellite imaging, but nothing more."
"I think we should go see the probable areas," Kira said.
"Right. I'll have an aide follow Zhane. C'mon, guys."
Tommy got up, and made sure the others were following, and walked out of the meeting room and into the War Room. He absentmindedly reached for Kira's hand a couple of times, but then realized that it wasn't the time or the place for stuff like that, especially when he was still confused about the whole situation. He hadn't talked to Kim yet or anything.
Mitchell was waiting for them as they entered.
"Rangers, I've gotten as much satellite imagery as I could," he said. "Of course, what we're reading here are probably just dimensional egresses to other planes, which would be where the bases themselves actually are located. We have detected moving bodies with no body heat to speak of, which means they are probably Serpatrons. Two locations, of course: one in Reefside, which is about thirty minutes north of here, and one in Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. The thing is, they could both be bases. Or, one could just be a decoy. We do not know. Tommy and TJ, since they're your teams, I'll leave the decisions in your hands."
Mitchell moved off to study some power flow charts, and Tommy looked at the map for a few moments before making some adjustments.
"We'll have to make power allocations as necessary. I think it'd be best to have Adam as an ace-in-the-hole that we can call when or if we find the real base. So Adam, you should take a small group to the hospital. TJ and Andros, since you were there last, you guys can go to Alexandria. And I'll take a group to Reefside.
"Now, we do need to figure out how we'll split up. I don't want all our strength to be in one group. We also need a Galaxy Ranger to head to the hospital. Adam, you should take Ashley and Zhane. TJ, Andros, and Kairi can go to Alexandria. And I'll take Kira and Tanya."
He did a quick double-take, as he tried to figure out whether or not he left anyone out.
"Kat? Where's KJ?"

| QUOTE | | "I just thought of something, be back in a second." |
Andros watched Zhane run off with an understandable confused look on his face at his friend’s action. What could Zhane possible have in mind to help in this situation? Unless he had a rocket ship tucked away somewhere that Andros didn’t know about, but last time Andros checked the Astro Megaship was their last surviving interstellar transport available. Andros turned his attention back to the others as the two team leaders discussed surveillance options.
He followed along with the others as the group quickly relocated to the base’s War Room. All things considered now that he had a chance to look at it Andros had to admit it was a pretty advanced set up for Earth technology.
| QUOTE | | "Rangers, I've gotten as much satellite imagery as I could, Of course, what we're reading here are probably just dimensional egresses to other planes, which would be where the bases themselves actually are located. Andros looked over the shoulders of one of the technicians watching them attempt to scan one of the locations. He was no expert on cross dimensional mechanics but the space ranger had a life time of experience in scanning across spacel anomalies, and he noted many of the factors were similar. Andros leaned in close to the technician looking at his monitor. “You’re getting a quantum feedback on your scans. It’s trying to read two locations simultaneously. Try a scan frequency closer to the energy readings coming from the other dimension that should at least allow for a radar reading.”
The technician stared at the stranger for a moment then followed his suggestion. As Andros had predicted the computer was now able to at least get a full radar scan of the area, picking up the signals of the life forms in the area. “Use the same principle with the radio transmissions it should prevent any disruption in communication.” Andros added to his advice for the soldier before turning his attention back to the conversation with the others.
| QUOTE | | "We'll have to make power allocations as necessary. I think it'd be best to have Adam as an ace-in-the-hole that we can call when or if we find the real base. So Adam, you should take a small group to the hospital. TJ and Andros, since you were there last, you guys can go to Alexandria. And I'll take a group to Reefside. Now, we do need to figure out how we'll split up. I don't want all our strength to be in one group. We also need a Galaxy Ranger to head to the hospital. Adam, you should take Ashley and Zhane. TJ, Andros, and Kairi can go to Alexandria. And I'll take Kira and Tanya." |
Tommy had an effective strategy Andros thought. Though he was a little unsure about splitting the teams up so much in a situation like this it made the best if not the only option to hit all targets at once. Yet he could not help asking who this Kairi was and why were he and TJ being placed with someone they did not even know for this mission?
Once the teams and where they were going was fully straightened Andros made a suggestion to the group on how to proceed. “I think it’s best if we head out purely to observe the situations. All of us keep in constant communication contact with each other and don’t take any actions unless absolutely necessary.”

Adam had followed along with the others into the War Room. He was elated to see Kat up and about and back to her old self again. The whole process of getting her back from the monstrous transformation had been one of those nail biting stressful waiting at the clock events that he hated. Fortunately now it all seemed to have worked and Adam could not help but smile seeing Kat and Tanya interact as if they were back in high school.
Adam observed the images on the screens as Captain Mitchell explained the situation. Part of him felt very uneasy by all of this and the possibility that there was a trap involved. The other part of him felt even worse at the thought of there being two fully functioning bases that this evil army was operating from.

Being an ace-in- the-hole did sound important but Adam could not help felling a bit like an odd man out. He had seen many of his friends have to wait on the sidelines for their own safety or for the good of the team. Heck Jason and Tommy had both mastered that idea when they were the sixth mans on the team. Right now it might not be so bad but Adam had to wonder if he would be able to handle staying out if things got heavy. Or worse if both teams did end up in trouble, how could he possible chose between his friends, the people he loved, and decide who to help.
Tommy’s question pulled Adam from his own self questioning as he realized that their new pink ranger was still missing from the group. His eyes turned towards Kat as most of the others did as well.
| QUOTE | "KJ... she um... left, She gave me this She also gave me this as well. I was still kind of out of it when she came to me, I don't even actually really remember much of what she said. She just put a box in my hand and left. When I fully woke up I opened it and the note and Zeonizer were inside." |
Adam could not hide the look of approval on his face. “The more things change the more they really do stay the same.”
| QUOTE | "Where is Carlos," “If I had heard correctly, Carlos was still within the infirmary recovering and would require few more observation, before they release him. Trusting who we are talking about here, Carlos might not…pardon the pun…take it lying down and more than eager to get back on his feet.” |
“Knowing Carlos he’ll be back to action as soon as he can.” Adam nodded in agreement with his wife’s explanation. The transformation on Carlos had worked faster and more thoroughly than it had on Kat. However his young friend’s body seemed to need more time to recover. Adam wondered if this was because it had been a fuller and more powerful transformation then the others, or if was cause of that drag out fight he had had with Carlos while he was still a demon. Now that he thought about it, maybe it was for the best he was sitting out the action right away. As if in response his shoulders stung in slight pain reminding him that his body was not in the great condition it had been before returning to being a ranger.

Zhane paced swiftly along the hallway, wondering where the hell Miss Fairweather was going to be. Then, almost out of nowhere, he ended up nearly crashing into her as she came walking out of a room.
She didn't seem to notice, and continued walking along. Zhane tapped her shoulder and before she had even began spinning around, began to talk. "Miss Fairweather," he said, "I need to ask you something, but I think I've come up with a way we might be able to set up 100% surveillance of our enemy. Do you have any remnants of serpatrons anywhere, like their blood, or skin?"
Zhane then looked at her anxiously for an answer.

TJ immediately felt a slight disapproval of the mixmatching of the teams. Firstly, he felt more than just one Galaxy Ranger should be sent to the hospital. Whoever is in there, most probably Andrew judging by the description, is probably going to be quite disorientated and it's not going to help when only one out of three of the people seeing him is someone he knew. He also thought it was slightly odd that him and Andros were paired with someone they didn't know. If they were attacked, they had no idea what this Kairi was like, so it would be hard to formulate a strategy. Then again, this is TOMMY we're talking about, he thought, he has to have some kind of reason behind it.

TJ sighed a short relief to himself. If she was replacing Kairi in the plan, that would mean that that at least he would be working with someone he kind of knew.
Suddenly, Carlos entered the room, which somehow came as a bit of a shock to TJ. He thought Carlos would still be resting.
| QUOTE | | "I'm gone a little bit and you guys are all talking about me behind my back. Is this too soon, so someone better start filling me in on things. I have a lot I need to tell you guys too." |
| QUOTE | | “Do you want the whole story? Or the rather short abbreviation version?” gesturing with one hand. |
TJ then looked over at Ashley, who seemed to be in a mode of concentration. Both her and himself hadn't discussed what they had talked about on the way to see Carlos when he was in the infirmary since then, and they hadn't talked about it with anyone else either; however, TJ soon snapped out of his side-track when Tanya spoke up; however, he was now more in the mood to listen rather than speak unless he felt he had to.
