here is 'the wall' it's the place in camp where everyone writes gossip and secrets and stuff. anyone can post at any time, just log out and post as a guest.

notes and letters
since there isn't any ims or cell phones, the campers usually rely on notes or letters to communicate with each other when they can't talk out loud.

here is where daily assemblies and meals are held. the meetings are mandatory, and held at eight in the evening, after dinner.

no boys allowed! the water is always freezing, but sometimes that feels good after a long day.

no girls! the showers were built for someone approximately three feet tall, which is unfortunate, nut most of the boys deal with it.

counselor's lounge
here is where the counselors can come and hang out when they aren't busy with the campers. the only tv in the camp is located here. too bad for the campers.

the firepit
here is where almost nightly rounds of campfire singing and late night reveling happens. someone's always got a guitar and a bag of marshmallows. it's sort of in the middle of the cabins, so if you plan on sleeping before two, then you'd better get some earplugs.

the amphitheater
here is where the end of camp talent show is held, along with a bunch of performances throughout the session. there's almost always a group of kids sitting in the stands or on the stage, working on some project or just hanging out.

the lake
here is where campers can go swimming or canoeing or kayaking if they want, as long as there is a lifeguard or counselor present. no late night swims.

the forest
a great place to hike, do nature workshops, explore, or play hide and seek. make sure you tell someone if you plan on going in the forest by yourself, so that if you get lost, someone knows where you are.

the beehive
a weird building, shaped like a beehive, that's been around since before the camp was here. there's almost always some group sitting in their meditating or writing or something. many think it's haunted.

here is where the camp's many sporting activities are held. if you want someone to play soccer or baseball or whatever with, then someone here is probably willing to play with you.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Welcome to Camp Heather, located in Vermont. We're
a free-expression camp, basically meaning that
campers are free to talk about whatever they want,
and choose their own schedules for camp activities and
whatnot. All campers between the ages of thirteen and
nineteen are welcome, with counselors ages nineteen
and over.
