	Welcome to PAWS V2 Nault is the only first-world country on the face of the planet. In the past, climate change severely impacted agriculture, and as the impoverished, starved society began to unravel from the bottom up, the masses became tinder for diseases and unrest. In a matter of decades, the crisis escalated, and human kind faced not a bright future but extinction as the worldwide population dropped from 7 billion to 7 million. Nault is formed on the rubble of a slain society, and the government has made steps to ensure that what happened to the world past will never happen to their new ideal one. An emphasis on education, arts, and sciences emerges along with a strict two child per couple policy. No net population growth; "quality over quantity," they say. Though the government functions as a direct democracy on important issues, allowing citizens to vote, let there be no confusion as to whom is truly in control. With no net growth in numbers, the survival of the nation and humankind depends on making it function peaceably. However, tensions are brewing from within, and external factors are shifting.
