Sadly not, it's still sold, so isn't legally classified as Abandonware.

Floor 13 is though.

I got floor 13 ... its a nice game like machismoX says you are the british secret police and have to deal with, terrorism, scandals, conspirations etc ... you can kidnap people, assasinate, infiltrate in criminal organizations etc. Its a nice game

BTW its ballot released alredy? if is released where i can download it ?

There's a political game called President Forever where you deal with campaigning. It's not free though. Democracy 2 isn't a bad game but it's not free.

BTW, these are the links in case you're interested.

President Forever
Democracy 2

P.S.
Sorry if my English is bad.

This game, Dictator, is based upon the same DOS game as SimJunta:

I have to agree with aghanael... there is a definite lack of online games dealing with political intrigue.

I would love to play a game dealing with politics, coups, back-stabbing and general skull-duggery.

I thought Democracy was fun, but I felt it was too limited. Democracy 2 is in the right direction, but I still feel it is limited. I want more control over the election part.

I didnt like democracy 2 mainly because hovering over any of the policies (you know what i mean) it turns the whole field black (if i remember correctly) and that got way to annoying. that and the UI is almost exactly the same as democracy 1

Your link leads to the site, but when I click on it, it just asks to close the window...If I say no, it opens another window of the same page...

I would imagine we would be getting a new politcal game for the upcoming year. It is election year.

I just want a good one. You have to control the country, and face getting re-elected. Include war and the effects it has on the country.

Ditto..

It'd be also good to rework the way feedback is shown to you, as well as influences. Current Democracy 2 can be described as basically just modern style of Rubik's Cube.. it needs more work..

I have tried democracy 2 too, but it to bad - after certain game, you know best strategies for best effect, and game get boring.
If you choice another scenario, you only choice different starting problems, but not best strategy to solve any problem.

Just remake of shadow president/hiden agenda/13 th floor will be enough for me, and I thing others too.

I bought Democracy 1, it was fun. Democracy 2, I played the demo, it was ok, but I don't know if I want to spend my money on it. I haven't heard of many other political games coming out. It would be nice if Democracy had you running for President, and actually have to campaign, do debates, and the whole thing. It does have a lot of depth, but there could be more.
