Misc. Game freeze problemsA utillity to kill all apps not used by the XP core, made for optimizing playing games under XP. Could properly be usefull for users having the freeze problem in GB2. Get it here :

Game lock up. Nvidia cardsAfter short time the game freezes. Try stopping the Nvidia manager/Nvidia control panel. Its has an icon in the tray. Exit it before starting the game.
-Game Lock up/freeze. Dual processor problem. On a dual processor system a user (barlett) found out a possible solution :
1. Go into task manager and right click on the gamebiz II under Applications
2. Select go to process
3. Should be GB2 - right click and select set affinity - make sure only one CPU is ticked and bob's your uncle!
- Game is slow. >> When in game goto the game options and turn off the map in the Map options page or turn down the number of cars, night or clouds displayed. Uncheck music before starting a new game.

- Errors like cannot save file inbox.txt when fast forwarding. Disable your antivirus product in the gamebiz2 directory and sub dirs. I had this reported by a user that used kaspersky and mcafee anti-virus. and it worked to disable the antivirus.
- MCI and sound errors and problems>>If you receive the following error : "There Was A Problem Initializing MCI" when you start the game or just having troubles with the sound/music here's a few thing to consider doing :
>> Install/reinstall you Microsoft Media player, version 9.0 or newer required.
>> Try to download a new WMA-codec from MS, if any available.
>> Install newest sound card drivers.
DEBUGIf everything you try fails. Try to do the following :
You can start GB2 in debug mode by starting "gb2.exe /debug", This will create a log in the directory where gb2.exe is located.
This log file can be viewed with notepad and you can post it to me if you want help with your problems. It might help me locate your problem.
