I'm disappointed. Memphis drive was suppost to be released even before 2008. And is still under development. Hurry up Damien or I will kick Your balls! tongue.gif

You don't seem to know the unwritten(until now...) rule here. You can complain about pretty much everything. But you never, ever, ever, ever! Complain about a release date.

that just because we waited so long for cw3, and no one really said anything, so it's just become normal to not complain about release dates.

It's quite obvious not to complain about a Release Date considering there is only one... ONE... programmer on each game and since the developers here want to make the best game possible it is kind of obvious that it is taking time.

However Splinter Cell delayed.. AGAIN... that is something to complain about shakefist.gif

Release dates are never a 100% guarentee, programmers always encounter problems/bugs in their code, some which could take 2 minutes to fix, some could take 2 weeks maybe more.

Also a big factor with memphis drive is that it is now a much bigger project than it was when it first started out.

Damien realises that no-one can wait much longer for the game because we all know it is going to be great.
So this forces him to take longer on the game to make sure it is perfect and also the best game ever released by Osiris Games.

Basically, It will be a long time until it is released but it will be worth it.

Also as soon as I've tested the demo to make sure it works on my computer I WILL be buying the full version no matter what the price is.

however, if metalman wasn't a mod he couldn't edit signatures. you ought to be thankful that he can currently do this though, as he can correct your dire spelling for you. like so:

Sorry, nothing. I understand now why it was so difficult for Rob to get CW3 through the door when he was at uni.. when you're not programming, all you want to do is relax.. when you're not relaxing all you're doing is programming work. So its hard. I was even considering handing the source over to someone to see if they would finish it.. but i dunno.

Yeah I have lived through almost the exact same thing (with exception that I am not programming during school work) so I understand you wink.gif tongue.gif

Don't rush it and it'll turn out fine or most likely even better than just fine... smile.gif

Dunno dude.. hard to say really. Maybe, but probebly not. I want to but at the same time im finding it difficult to get back into it - especially when i spend most of my days programming anyway (for uni). We'll have to wait and see i guess.
