Description: Getting To Know You!

Kglarsen - September 7, 2009 08:07 AM (GMT)
In this interview thing, I will encourage each new member to answer the following questions, so we can get a slight idea of who they are.

What’s your full name?
How old are you?
Which country are you from?
In which city do you live?
Any family?
Do your work or study and where?
What do you do in your spare time?
How did you find Osiris Games?
Favourite game from Osiris Games?
How do you see your future?
What would you do if you had a million dollars?

Syntty - September 7, 2009 12:55 PM (GMT)
Do I count as a new member? :D

Kglarsen - September 7, 2009 05:03 PM (GMT)
Uhm no, not really. I'll contact the people who has joined the forum the past month. And every time a new member joins I'll encourage that person to answer the questions.

metalman - September 7, 2009 05:15 PM (GMT)
No! Don't contact all new members. That's a bit creepy. They'll think you're a stalker. And I think anyone that hasn't had an interview yet should be able to do it if they like.

Halle - September 7, 2009 06:25 PM (GMT)
They will all get their turn when worthy enough...

smoofdude - September 7, 2009 08:59 PM (GMT)
Oh, yeah, interview Ben, that's good.

metalman - September 7, 2009 10:54 PM (GMT)
Is Ben even active any more?

That one's actually legitimate, he's pretty on-off.

Le homme de metal - I just think this is a great way to get the new members to become more active on here. 90% of them are just "1-post wonders" anyways.
Halle's interviews are for the members who has been around for a longer period time.
And why is it creepy to send someone a private message saying that I'd like them to do the interview? I don't get it?

you're absolutely worthy enough. You're one of the the front runners for a interview at the moment...

And you should delete some messages if you want to be considered for an interview. You're inbox is full...

Syntty - September 8, 2009 02:28 PM (GMT)
So um... We just post our answers to the questions to this topic?

Kglarsen - September 8, 2009 02:45 PM (GMT)
If you're a new member, but I wouldn't exactly consider you as a "new" member...

Syntty - September 8, 2009 03:03 PM (GMT)
Well sure I'm not a new member but I haven't ever been interviewed :( It's up to the people who will see the interview!

Kglarsen - September 8, 2009 03:26 PM (GMT)
Well you could be a candidate for Halle's "The interview"

Gavin :ph43r:

Yes he does, this is just my version of it with only "new" members. Halle's "The Interview" is with the older members of the forum. So it haven't got anything to do with each other. As a rule of thumb, those who get's a birthday greeting on the forum will also be the ones to be interviewed by Halle! :P

I don't agree with everything that metalman say but you have to in this case. This is a bit stalkerish for my taste...

But on the other hand if it turns to an active forum then I might change my mind. Still it's a bit stalker warning on this one...

Kglarsen - September 9, 2009 08:39 PM (GMT)
Okay, then I won't do that.........

Interesting...

Maybe we should send a PM to all the new ones and give them the opportunity to get involved in the game. They could each get some kinda assignment(info hunter, graphic, etc.) that would help the game. The game would be faster completed and they would feel welcome and wanted. Win-win situation.

I've asked MachismoX to add Music Manager to his "Welcome list".

But yes, this is a great way to get members to become active.
