so i'm in a rebuilding phase right now with my maple leafs, i'm also GM of Team Canada Men's, i also coached the USA U20 to a 3rd place finish and Swedish U20 team to one of the U20 cups, took over after WJC. so far after 1 complete and a half played season i have 1 stanley cup and year 2 will be hit or miss for the playoffs since i traded and good amount players aways for younger players i general use 27 year olds and under, prefer 25 and under.

and don't forget to use your scouts to find hidden talent around the world and within the draft.

right now i've been changing lines around and trading to get some younger players and moving up in the draft and getting extra picks... my goalies are set for years. defence is strong, just looking for one more shutdown dman, forwards are strong now, but i only have 12 spots to play them and i have another 14 forwards playing in the minors that could play on my main team. actually everyone but 1 player could play on my main team even out of my goalies... we are strong young team. but i may have to trade or let players go just so i can get these guys playing more.

I liked this game. such a shame that they didn't continue with this game.

Is there any updates to it to download? Could be fun to try it again if there is any...

there a update made every year. i play with 05/06 still tho and their is a unfake so you have the actually players like Towes or Earl.. and with the updates all leagues get updated

I've been playing the 2002/03 version I think (2nd Gen) off and on lately. I like it more than EHM 07, even though some aspects of 07 are definitely deeper/better.

Biggest problem is that it's a bit too easy sometimes. I had a stacked team for like $30 Mil total payroll, which is cheap as f***. But I've started letting more stars go to UFA or trading them when they're too stubborn about money, and refusing to cheat the CPU on any trades. This makes the game more fair and more fun.

i just started a Edmonton oilers season over the season. youth movement working nicely... i might try my hand again with farjestad(after all they are going to the SEL champion this year)
