Title: Criminal Minds

This is show I am sure our Mr. Russel loves, and if he hasn't seen it he should.
It is about FBI profilers who help find people who commit crimes. They provide a profile, and this helps identify possible suspects.
I have begun watching this show this season, and plan to get the dvds for the past seasons. It is a show that is perfectly written, and tries to show how the FBI gets their criminal.
Any other fans here?

Sorry shoe but I just have one word: lame. I've seen about 5 episodes of Criminal Minds and I just cant get over how lame it all really is. I'll take CSI over this any day of the week. What we usually have a chuckle about is that really skinny guy with the bad hair that ALWAYS knows shit. Whatever it is - he always gets the right answer. It could be some shit only a baseball couch would know, or an eskimo living in Antarctica and he'd still know straight away whats going on.
But hey, thats just me. Obviously its popular.. but i'm just more of a Crossing Jordan man (out of all the crime-solving shows ON or OFF TV).. i usually like it better when they have to figure things out for themselves (read books, etc) instead of just knowing straight away :P

I tried watching Jordan on A&E and can't get into it. I guess it is a taste thing.
I really enjoy Criminal Minds though. I hate CSI.

Its stupid no wonder why people get murdered they get a tutorial on tv on how to do it

buckethead, that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I take it you parents never let you play M-Rated games growing up, and taught you it was "a murder simulator"?

lol Theres nothing realistic about these shows anyway.. in fact if anything they probebly may deter some people and only because they make it look so simple on TV when in reality its not.

The show actually shows how they come up with profiles for possible suspects. It does take much longer than a few days to find a suspect though.
The main idea behind a profiler is to offer the police possible ideas of what to look for when trying to solve a crime.
These shows show very little into what goes into the process. They just give the good side. Like CSI, people at my college went into that field because of the show. We had so many people dropout because they thought it would be very simple. Instead it was a lot of studying, and learning the different ways to get evidence.

I love the original CSI: the others suck. Simply suck. Granted Grissom knows more than the average scientist, but his entire character is unique to a "weird genius" type deal...Criminal Minds is good for bout the first 10 minutes of the show and then gets really really boring...

I watch it from time to time, mostly if there's nothing else on. Definately not something I would watch regulary, just to kill time.
