Title: The Incredibles 2?

djrussell - October 2, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
Hey does anyone know if they're making a sequel to The Incredibles? I always thought it would be such a good idea.. especially since it left it open for anotherone (with that mole guy at the end of the movie).

The mole guy was opening for the incredibles video game. They had one based on the movie then they had another one with the mole guy.

ive been looking for over a year and there is no word on the incredibles 2.

Pixar was planning one, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon. They have a lot of movies coming up, and this isn't one of them.

djrussell - October 2, 2007 12:58 PM (GMT)
Yeah.. personally i think they'd be crazy not to. The Incredibles truely is an amazing movie with such an original storyline.. and i'd prefure it over Toy Story 3 any day! Ashame.. maybe in a few more years (its already been 3! :o)

smoofdude - October 2, 2007 01:08 PM (GMT)
Toy Story owns the Incredibles. Toy Story is a classic and though I admit The Incredibles was good Toy Story 3 is a movie I'm looking forward to very much.

djrussell - October 2, 2007 01:19 PM (GMT)
No way man.. Toy Story was *good* - hardly a classic. It only got more exposure than any other because it was like the first fully animated CGI film or something. 3D animation n stuff. Toy Story 2 was absolute crap - and compared to the other 11 or so Pixar films - its not even in the Top 5.

smoofdude - October 2, 2007 01:37 PM (GMT)
Toy Story 2 was absolute crap. You just don't understand the workings of a kid. For me Toy Story 2 was one of the best movies I've ever seen. The video game was also great.

I must say I thought the Incredibles was overhyped averageness and am also looking forward to Toy Story 3

I agree. I enjoyed The Incredibles, but for me, I prefer Toy Story. I would go an see a sequel to this in a heartbeat though.

What are you talking about? How old you do think I really am? lol Toy Story and Toy Story 2 came out wihen I was still a little tiger as well.. and the first one was good, but the second one was so poor it was unbelievable. But I'd rather Pixar got Brad Bird to write another Incredibles movie than a dude that has nothing to do with the series writing a new script for a third installment. I mean he may do a good job, but the way Brad Bird is going these days i think the man is destined for greatness.

The Incredibles rocked. I can't believe that much time has passed since I saw it. Toy Story was alright...but I didn't really care for it. The Incredibles was one of the few movies I was dragged to that I enjoyed.

Id take both Toy Stories over Incredibles easily, but Incedibles was still enjoyable..but, imo Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are just simply classics...ranks up there with the Lion King when it comes to GOAT..for children.

I consider The Lion King the last true classic Disney film. Mulan and Hercules do get votes though

I dunno how old you are. I'd say 29. If you are younger it is just because you write so wisely it makes you out to be older.

djrussell - October 3, 2007 07:35 AM (GMT)
lol Well thanks.. but i'm 18 anyway

smoofdude - October 3, 2007 08:03 AM (GMT)
I thought since you were already an accomplished game developer you would be older.

MachismoX - October 3, 2007 09:28 AM (GMT)
Hehe...29? Maybe because I'm 22 and know Damien's younger than me. I do sometimes age you to 20 though. I guess I could understand someone assuming you were a lot older.

The Incredibles was ok, but I have two gripes about it.
Firstly, the footage in the trailer wasn't even in the film (and was way funnier). Secondly (and this isn't the films fault) I thought the rating was too low. It was released at the cinema with a "U" certificate (good for everyone). However, there were bits in the film that I didn't feel were suitable for a film with that certificate including torture, violence towards children and the mum saying to her daughter that "they will kill you!". Come on! It's supposed to be a kids film! In fact, my sister (who I think was about 5/6 at the time) got so scared and upset by it that she wouldn't even talk about it afterwards. It should have at least been a PG (Parental Guidance). Personally, I wouldn't go to see a sequel.

smoofdude - October 3, 2007 11:57 AM (GMT)
I'd definitely go to see a sequel but if my parents give me money for one movie and Incredibles 2 and Toy Story 3 were released around the same time (Horrible business move) I'd go to Toy Story.

Sorry dude but your sister's a wuss.. a BIG wuss. I mean if that's the worst thing she's seen then thats not right.. not healthy.. get some blood and gore into her mate or shes gonna grow up to be some kind of anti-violent activist running for the local commissions office or some shit.. banning videogames and movies and saying books are the "devil". And no one wants that lol

Also the movie was PG, so i dunno what your talking about? Infact it was popular for that because it was the first Pixar movie to receive a PG classification.

brokeyard - October 4, 2007 02:18 AM (GMT)
My sisters' got similarly traumatized... from Dawn of the Dead.

djrussell - October 4, 2007 05:47 AM (GMT)
