The Gobbos March To War.

Hello guys,

warhammer was a bit down in our local club so I organised a small campaign. I added some small restrictions.

-max 2 heroes / no lords.
- no mages
- no monsters


Also characters could earn xp and get stats upgrades or special skills. You can play as many battles as you want in a month but the 2 best count for the ranking.

So I came up with this all gobbo list.

Heroes:
Goblin big boss, light armour, great weapon ( Gaalūk)
Night goblin big boss, bsb (Brugza)

Core:
30 Common gobbos, 3 nasty skulkers, full command, shield, short bow ( Da Red Guard)
30 Night goblins, short bows ( Da Scorpionz)
6 Wolfriders, spears, shortbows ( Dem Dogboyz)

Special
6 Trolls
3 Wolfchariots


My first opponent would be another greenskin player.

That sounds interessting. I like the idea of small games, and is a big fan of skirmish games like mordheim.

How many points is the game?

We start with 800 points

Very cool idea.

Are there prizes or is it just to re-kindle the game?

Can we get pics and Bat reps?

you'll get a pic taken with WGG, which is a rare honor unless you are a black orc stripper

The empire general: the one who has the most command points
The butcher: the one with the most victory points
The golden snotling: last one.

Like I said before was my first battle against other greenskins. The battle was pretty one sided. My chariots managed to charge trough a forest in his savage big'uns and my trolls killed his trolls and gobbo unit.

I really would like to write longer reports but I'm short on time for the moment.

I had 3 other games. I faced lizardmen, ogres, and an other goblin army. The got crushed by the mighty goblins( wel trolls). I think that a unit of 6 trolls is a bit tough in such low level games.

Also my goblin big boss got with his xp following upgrades:
+1 ld and +1 wound

The bsb got master of melee( which give you have armour, a free close combat weapon and a free shooting weapon).

So I gave him a crossbow and flail.

I promise that I will make a decent report for the next battle and take some pic's
