That is correct it isn't, and that is in the vs part of your quote. Unlike you I never claimed anything - however, the first thing you asumed was that I had never played with Empire, nor against Hordes, or that I would swallow the illogical nonsense about magic being the solid key to victory. Classic Warseer! I added that I have an easy time vs O&G because of what I wrote, but never that they were a walk in the park. My point stands, Ogres is the strongest of the 8th books by a slight margin IMO. No need to highlight those last three letters is there? |

If you scroll back I think you find that the assumption was not that you never played Empire but rather I assumed those on Da Warpath to be orc and goblin players.
You might not agree with my tactics, and you might not liek the fact that a thread about me brought me over here, but in the end of the day I'm an orc player on an orc forum. Everyone is free to their opinion, but when it comes to numbers and logic don't expect me to turn away. Orcs and goblins are an army to be feared and I'm going to share the reasons why. We all O&G players here methinks, and I suspect more than me own, have owned, and/or plays other armies besides greenskins - and I suspect many are well adversed in the game. And trying to look better online by adding years of experience and how many views you have on youtube won't cut it. You could just as well have added your Warseer posts as well because that would still won't change anything, nor be any significant proof that you are a better player or have a greater knowledge of the game than anyone else. It just means you have more spare time than me. Sorry for the off topic gents! |

It's just something that backs up the facts I keep presenting.*
If you look at what both armies bring to the table, orcs come ahead. If you open it up and look at the lists, it's clear orcs come ahead. I have the battle reports to show what happens in game (both against weak and experienced players). What else will it take to show ogres do not do well against orcs in a non-comped setting? *Ok, I took it out. This post has been edited by Malorian on Aug 3 2012, 05:53 PM |

I wouldn't dream of running a list like the one you've listed here, to me it has all the problems with the 8th edition. As well as paying points for a unit with more cons than pro's and the tax that you have to pay to make the unit more effective, but I digress and will stop kicking the dead donkey now And yes while true that they don't remove steadfast on their own, when a unit has been locked in combat on its front facing and then suddenly I have gorgers appearing in units rear and flanks I can no longer reform and suddenly it appears apparant that I had been got by a better opponent than myself which I'm not afraid to admit. And you still do have limited return attacks when a model is in the flank and/or rear of the unit |
