I was going through the 8th edition rule book and am a bit confused, I was under the impression that lords, heroes, and character models benefited from the look out sir rule, but in the book it only says that champions of a unit benefit from the rule. Am I missing something?

It's in the character section. they get 2+ when in unit of same troop type. 4+ when within 3" of same troop type.

I was confused too, when I first read the new rules. It took a while to connect the dots. The rules are kinda spread out.

Pg 93 champion look out
Pg 96-97 lone character look out
Pg 99 character look out

Nope as the misscast table tell you when he takes a hit or not. No LoS for him.
