Does anyone know of any websites to find cheap orcs and goblin units for cheap? They can be non-GW models. I'm looking for goblins in particular in order to hoard them up into 100 model units. But, I'm interested in both orcs and goblins.
Thanks. This post has been edited by kris_kapsner on Jun 11 2012, 03:29 AM |

about 25% cheaper than gw when looking at units of 20. not to keen on the faces myself but im considerign getting some still. My Webpage they do orcs to but i find the orcs a bit small compared to GW ones. can only say that about the core orc troops they have tho i havnt seen any other models from mantic. |

The place I have stocked up on my O&G models has been ebay. Even got batallions from there very cheaply which only had a couple of things missing. Highlights I remember seeing for anyone looking to start up would be:
Cheap 6th ed starter orcs, especially arrer boys which can be converted to have shields. Cheap BFSP night goblins. Okay, so some need stripping usually, but they're fairly cheap. Have seen sets of 30 or so orcs in a box set, non GW with spears but don't have any myself as got a load of the 6th ed ones very cheaply. They look OK in the picture, not sure how they would hold up scale or sculpt wise in person. Fair amount of older plastics (esp 4th/5th ed WHFB) and older GW cavalry Cheap spider riders and common goblins. I gave into temptation and bought 2 batallions myself, after getting a BFSP set and extra NG's and an old batallion, so I know why they get listed too, I've 2 sets of each spare too ![]() BFSP trolls, can usually get this plastic fella for £4 or £5 Characters you will see cary in price, usually the best time to use ebay is the week before anoyone gets paid (I won a new lot of black orcs for £12 this weekend for example) and auctions which end during the day when everyone is at work .Warmachines and special choices like black orcs and squigs are generally pushing towards GW's prices since they are more in demand. If you are in the UK look for the trolltrader, I used him a lot for paints, sprays brushes and models as he has low to free P&P and decent prices. Aside from Ebay I have looked towards discount retailers, like Dark Sphere for anything I gave in and bought new. They also stock AoW stuff, so they are probably somewhere in the future too ![]() Hope I've managed to help |

Some additional info:
Chariots are horribly overpriced. Especially the goblin one! You can just buy tomb king chariots (per 3) and convert them (buy a box of wolf riders). |

A lot of decent recommendations on this thread already. I have a couple of additions...
Ramshackle games do some excellent and very cheap spear chukkas and rock lobbas. http://shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.ph...ad4c0818ebe5aeb Mantic games models are generally a bit small compared to gw, but they are pretty good and cheap in my opinion. They do some gore riders, which would look quite nice as boar riders. Ebay is pretty much where most of my army was bought. The arrer boys on the orc front are definitely the cheapest orc boys you can find. The orc boar chariot can generally be found for cheap on ebay, but for the goblins its best to go down the Tomb king chariot conversion route. Finally, there are lots of brilliant conversion out there just waiting to be made, if you make use of bits stores like hoard o bits, bits and kits and bitz box. |

BfSP models ran through the ugly forest and hit every branch. It really was the beginning of the end for night goblins. You cannot deny they're a shadow of their former selves.

I rather have the new ones a gazillion times more than those atomic-waste water melon headed and Clubber Lang fisted Goofy foot wearing 6th ed. Night Goblins. The old ones are horrible, and besides they are not very common or cheap even on ebay IIRC. |

I like the BfSP gobbos, so easy to convert to many uses. Same with the trolls
![]() Ebay is your friend here, or your local games club/website trade post, eg Wargamerau in Australia. Just don't read all the whinging in other areas of the site... RoV |

What? Yes, yes I can! I infinitely prefer the current style of gobbos to the old "Hello I'm a green cartoon character that's bigger than a man!" goblins. ![]() Theo |

I'm going to support Theo and Shadowlord here. The new NG are way nicer than the old ones, and BfSP ones just require some minor converting to make them as interesting as the boxed NGs.
