Welcome, Warpathers, to unwanted's log of things!
I'll keep introductions fairly short, and then get on to what we're all here for, namely pictures! Suffice to say, I primarily model and paint, but still model everything with the rules in mind. Skaven are my primary focus, but to keep from going insane, I also do other things, namely Orcs and Gobbos for Mordheim, Imperial Fists Space Marines and assorted random one-offs. Now, onto the pictures! Skaven first. Always loved Clan Rictus, and with their resurgence in the last book, as well as in the Heraldry Book, I finally managed to get a coherent look and plan going for them. First, Warlord finished not 15 minutes ago: ![]() ![]() He's been through numerous revisions, but I'm finally happy with the conversion. Next, Stormvermin: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The plastics are being supplemented with older metals, that I'm still stripping and repainting. They'll end up at 40-strong No Clan Rictus force should leave Crookback Mountain without Tretch Craventail: ![]() ![]() Hated his original weapons from the start, so I changed them to this more rogue-ish setup. Next, a few Greenskins, as I really can't have an Armyblog on Da Warpath without some Orcs and Goblins. These are mostly older models from my Mordheim Warband, but more will follow. In no particular order: Gobbo ![]() ![]() Big'Un ![]() ![]() Shaman ![]() ![]() Arrer Boy ![]() Boss ![]() I'm currently painting up a replacement Boss, based on Snikkrot, but he'll have to wait. As previously mentioned, I also do Imperial Fists (oh, and Orks), but I'll just leave the Link for anyone who's interested. Over to you. |

Both the orcs and the skaven are really great, I like how they're gritty.
I expecially love the orcs skin |

Hiya!
I really like the gritty style of your armies (here and on warseer). I really don't know much about Skaven models so I'm just going to leave it at "they look good" ![]() But the Orcs are all nice conversion. Especially the Big Un. Simple yet very effective. But how are you going to rank him up? Looks like you'd need special models on both sides of him. this is usually a problem with Orcs as they are really a pain to get onto their bases normal. Unit filler helps this BTW. These can give you just that little bit of extra room. Grtz -EM- |

Mordheim orcs are awesome! I really like the Big 'Uns... as well as archers and shaman looks very nice.I don't really like the skaven... but only because they're skaven! The paintjob is very gritty and nice... great stuff This post has been edited by Morten C on May 31 2012, 12:40 PM |

All very nice but the Mordheim warband are awesome!
Love the dirty, rusty, worn-out colour scheme. Spot on! |

Thanks all of you.
I was going to post an update, but I can't seem to access my Photobucket, which is a little nervewracking. I'll get back to posting as soon as this stuff is sorted out. |

Hey MortenC, long-time admirer of your very original (in every sense of the word) representation of orcs and goblins. Evil was definitely one of my aims for the Rat Ogres, as they're just not the nicest critters.
Now, Greenskinned update! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Da big, bad Boss-orc. Warlord on foot or BigBoss, depending on circumstances. He was originally conceived for Mordheim, but I'd be terribly sad to lay him on his side... Thoughts? |

Thanks a lot guys, I already saw your comments a while ago, I just figured I owed you pretty pictures before updating.
First up is another little thing for my Mordheim Orcs, Zorg the War-Troll. A rare breed of Troll hailing from the Dragonback Mountains, Zorg has been outfitted with weapons and armour by the Pit-Fighters Guild, who used to turn a tidy profit on Troll-matches, untill the Meteor struck, and Zorg found himself wandering through the ruins, bashing things, eating things, and eventually chancing upon Gashrek and the lads, who were more than happy to take in the poor, lost Troll: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also got another furry update, my new incarnation of Narquell, Prophet of the Horned Rat: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice update with that troll, and great fluff as well.
I think you should clean or paint the rims of your bases. That's the only criticism I can find about your work |

It's true about the bases, it seems that Graveyard Earth can't handle being handled. I'll give them another coat.
