You can make the idol yourself out of some rocks, foam, popsicle sticks, and random orcish bits. The Squig though...sooo much Squig wub.gif

My opinion (and I'm a Black Orc Warboss on weekends, so lissen up, ya git) is that the squig is just a bigger version of a beastie that there are already many versions of, while the Idol is unique. It'll look great on the table. And it has a big bad voodoo mask. When you have a choice between anything and a rock monster wearing a big bad voodoo mask, it's pretty much end of discussion, where I'm from.

I would buy so much other stuff with that kind of expendable dough.

They are both classed as Storm of Magic monsters, they don't fit in a regular army list. Go with whatever model you like best, they are unimpressive in terms of rules. The Squig will struggle to kill much but is pretty cheap for T6 W6, the Idol is more expensive, has a save and can kill stuff, but is prone to being forced to declare a failed charge every turn of the game.

Why choose? Say you'll not marry her unless she gets you BOTH! wink.gif

I mean, she must be gullible if she agreed to marry someone with the name carlos spicyweiner!! wink.gif

But I jest. both models are cool, but simply because it's cool, I'd go with the rogue idol.

"Don't bother" seems a bit harsh! I'm a firm believer in making up my own mind about movies so I'll ignore you and go see it myself if you don't mind!

On the other hand, I do like to hear what people think (and reviewers for that matter) just so I don't get my hopes built-up too much by hype! I've been let down by films in the past where I believed (or wanted to believe) a film would be the best thing ever... but it was awful... Yes The Phantom Menace, I'm looking at you!
