If Squigs are going Finecast then that shatters our hopes for a plastic kit
Also, $40 wolf chariot?! Do they expect ANYONE to buy those when we can get TK chariots so cheaply (or just scratch build our own)? |

Not really, there is already precedent for models to go Finecast only to be replaced by plastics a year later. This just means we won't be seing any in 2012. I for one won't buy any until they go plastic. |

I agree on that one. For the doom diver I'll probably bite, however the squig related stuff and wolf chariot are such old sculpts finecast or not, like the 2nd ed marine sculpts, I'll pass. |

Squigs! Wurrzag! Warmachines! Whoop!
I'm very happy about this news! The plastic character kits have been universally awesome so I'll defo get the Orc and Goblin ones. Finecast is great in my book - I haven't had a single issue with anything I've bought. Far too much is made of miscasts on the internet and GW have a great return and replace policy anyway. I will be indulging!! |

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like Finecast, but for units I want the versatility of a plastic kit. The Goblin on Gigantic Spider is an ideal model for Finecasting though.

FINALLY! YES!
Finecast Gigantic Spider and Great Cave Squig is just what I want. And plastic characters, too. If they're nice I'll probably pick them up. ![]() Theo |

I guess now is a good time to buy the existing goblins shaman minis, cuz when the new one comes they may go up in price. Like orc boyz did with savages.

Are these new plastic kits? I'm happy about the Savage Boss as we don't have one at the moment to order. Another gobbo shaman, though? I still haven't painted up all the old ones.
