I like them. The hoods over the eyes are cool.
One wonders if mantic will re-release the spearmen in plastic too. |

Those look pretty good, I might buy some of them and use them as night gobbo archers.

Hey, those look pretty nice. They'd be best as common gobbos, being armored and not robed, but I like how they use the hoods to split the difference between common and night goblins. They don't really have a place in my army but I think I'd be tempted, if I wanted a big block of common gobbo archers to harass and harry.

Even Theo agrees...it's like finding a small gold nugget in a dungpile. I still don't like the style, and some of the sculpting looks pretty naff in some places, but overall it's really good...for Mantic. ![]() Theo |

Fully agree Therox, although the Dwarfs have grown on me, and I love the undead range they've produced so far, with the exception of the tiny vampire lord. Still can't get used to the look of their high elves yet though, mind you, their prices are generally great!! I do love their entire O&G range so far, just wish I could get them, but I've got somewhere in the region of 6 double cases full of Greenies plus about another 4-5 single (3 deep cases) full of them, not sure I could go any more of them!!! Girlfriend might kill me!!!! |

This summer I'll probably buy 20 gore riders. It'll be my first experience with mantic models, but I really think you can make them look good!

Those models look awesome!
My undead army includes zounds of Zombies and Ghouls from Mantic, and I have to say I'm completely satisfied - the models are very easy to assemble, they look great and they're quite cheap too. Looks like I'm going to buy some Goblins in July... - Cheers, Skarsnik. |

Heehee, Gobbos
![]() (Yes I'm a gobbo fanboy. Long-time members will know that this is in no way a secret.) They look the business. Suitably generic enough to work as Common Gobbos, but still robed enough to pass as NG if required. Just a shame they can't pass for Forest Gobbos though... a few feathers & some paint might (MIGHT) work in their favour, but otherwise too civilized. Still though, in the immortal words of Meatloaf, 2 out of 3 ain't bad ![]() Cheers! Borzag (heehee, Gobbos! ) |

wow... just saw the entire range. That is some serious competition for GW goblins... especially on the prices!
20 plastic goblins for £17. and they look far better than the old plastics from GW... |
