So I just did 1500 pts, my OnG vs Lizardmen.
I killed 1 Stegadon for about 250pts. He killed errr... nothing, but did capture 1 banner! I had big'uns, blorcs, trolls, gobbo archers, doomdiver and lobber plus characters. He had L4 Slann, 2 unit of skinks, Saurus horde and the stegadon. I basically deployed in 1 corner away from the saurus horde and for about 4 turns pelted him with the doomdiver and lobber, Slann turned out to be immune to non-magic but in turn 3 I got the Stegadon. There was a venom thicket in the centre and his saurus basically wasted a turn going around it so it took him 4 turns to close up. We then had 2 turns of late action combat but with neither of us killing off any units. |
