I use all kinds of alternative orc models in my army. You can take a look in my blog (pres pic in the sig.), i often write the company name along with the pictures. smile.gif

Overall I'm a huge fan of ral partha orcs, I think they're the best orcs ever, but they have grown quite expensive lately.

other than that, I would sugest:
- Reaper miniatures
- Viking Forge
- Mantic
- Heathbreaker (on ral parthas homepage as well)
- old GW orcs

hope that helps smile.gif

There exists also dragonrune miniatures orcs, but they are oop now I think. You might find them on ebay though. Basically they did 2 types of orcs (in size I mean). I think the sculptor is the same as avatars of war but I may be wrong here.

Anyway, the smaller orcs are the same size I think as the late 90's metal big uns by Brian Nelson but I'm not sure since I don't own them.
However, the bigger orcs are really huge (for 28mm models I mean ^^) and they look more like GW models in term of design. When I say huge I mean it, they are broader than the plastic black orcs, their arms/heads/weapons are really large as well. And there's even a command group, where the boss is slightly bigger, and also a special character (a warlord) which is even much bigger !!
I have had ten of those beauties + the warlord at home for years now, and I'm still wondering how I'm going to incorporate them in my army since they are bigger than any black orc model available from GW. But I'll find out something, one day...
