Hi, here's an army list I used for a couple of games yesterday evening with my Creeping Fang forest goblin tribe. Did well with one win (against dwarves) and one draw (against high elves), but i'm curious about how it can be improved because i'm sure it can be.

Creeping Fang 2000pts:

Lords: 371

Goblin warboss - 141
Great weapon, Glittering scales, talisman of preservation

Night goblin great shaman - 230
Level 4, Dispel scroll, talisman of endurance

Heroes: 208

Night goblin big boss - 74
Battle Standard bearer, Banner of discipline, light armour, shield

Night goblin big boss - 34
Great weapon

Night goblin shaman - 100
Level 1, feedback scroll

Core: 510

49 Night goblins - 272
spears, nets, 2 fanatics, full command

26 night goblins - 163
bows, musician, 3 fanatics

5 spider riders - 75
- musician

Special: 463

6 trolls - 21x

2 wolf chariots - 10x

Night goblin Squig herd - 153
15 squigs, 11 herders

Rare: 445

Rock lobber - 8x

Snotling pump wagon - 70
Spikey roller, outrigga

Arachnorok spider - 29x

Total: 1997

The warboss and two big bosses both go in the large night goblin unit. It means the bsb is safe in the 2nd rank for atleast one turn of combat, also means my army is ld9.
I find feedback scroll to be excellent given the current meta game culture of throwing 5 or 6 dice at spells. Gives you a really good chance of taking out a wizard lord early on and tipping the scales in your favour.
I'm not sure about how to use the arachnorok yet. It was turned into a pin cushion by the high elves, but was very good at eating dwarf characters. Its on such a large base, I found it difficult planning where I wanted it to go...

I'd be really interested in this great communities thoughts on how to run a goblin army effectively, and to see how close you think i've come with this list...

Cheers.

Well, I've been looking over this list, and im really not sure what i'd change much. It'd be nice to get something more useful than the spider riders in, but I'm quite happy with my core load out and It gives me another deployment.
Going to take the list out again tonight to see how it does. Only change will be to make the chariots in to 2 single units. Has benefits of going any direction, but i'm worried about the panic it might cause...

I'd change the word 'forest' in the title as there isn't much in here that conjures up images of forest goblins. hence a little disappointment on my part after having clicked to view the thread. Otherwise the list is okay.

Well, its just the list attached to my army blog which is forest goblin models running as mostly night goblin units. My squig horde for example is made of spider rider spiders on 20mm bases, the night goblin units are the forest goblin spider rider models on foot, the wolf chariots are converted to be spider chariots and the shamans are old forest goblin models. I guess I should put a link and be more explicit at the top, sorry to disappoint.
Glad you think the list is ok though. It biffed up some ogres tonight. smile.gif

I like the list and the theme, not really sure how else there would be a forest goblin army except to have everything mounted on spiders
