Wow nice find! I saw the title and thought it was going to be the rumoured 'allied contingents' book.

Isn't that the battle where Sigmar stopped the orc horde? It's one of my favorite parts of the heldenheimer books, i think I'll end up buying that book for the fluff alone!

If you look inside the latest edition of white dwarf on page 67 it has an article on the third battle of black fire pass which was set in 2520 and involved Karl Franz. This could be completely unrelated but seems a little coincidental.

biggrin.gif there were 3 battles at black fire pass maybe in the book we'd see a fourth one following Tamurkhan's timeline setted after the death of Karl Franz

I wonder if the Titanic Squig and the Idol of Gork/Mork Golem dealie were designed with this campaign in mind, but also kludged into submission for including in the Monstrous Arcana book?

Either way, this could be a very good book for my friends and I to get our paw on biggrin.gif

In Tamurkhank's book there is a scenario, the 5th if i'm not wrong, where if you play a night goblin army for every 1000 points of army you can use a so called Collosal squig.
Has someone tried it?

The big news for us fantasy gamers though is that the next WF campaign book is based on an Orc Wagggh Involving the greenies, DWARVES!!! and Averland Empire. Understandably I'm very happy about this.

It's based on a 3rd battle for Black Fire Pass and they've been working on it for about 4 months and there's already loads of great artwork and much of the story has been drafted up.

Sure, Sigmar is supposed to win, and probably will be winning at the end of this book...

But I'm fairly sure that a lot of us here want to change a little history, don't we? wink.gif
