It's going to be a little while, I want to finish the unit basing and movement tray and take loads of pictures of the unit before the draw is done. Also I wont have any time to work on the unit at all next week, so most likely it will be the middle of June before the draw is done. The winner should definitely receive the unit before the end of June.

Sorry for the long wait but it takes up a lot of time sorting this stuff out, I haven't even finished my Gobbo yet. blush.gif

$20 says we're the only two chumps to use a white undercoat tongue.gif

I'll take you up on that bet Borzag, a quick look at the front rank (excluding Turelio and Buzznick) indicates there are quite a few white undercoated figures.

The unit is looking great - can't wait to see how good it looks once the basing is done (and thanks again to cb_rex for sorting this out, I know how much of a pain basing alone can be).

Great looking unit.

Strangely, Borzag and I seem to have really pale goblins compared to the rest of the unit. I wonder if we've somehow influenced each others colour choices during painting.

I was going to use a white undercoat, but my white spray is enamel rather than acrylic and doesn't like to hold Citadel paint >_<

Hehehe... You know I won't be collecting on that. Nice to hear we aren't the only ones with white undercoats though.

Well i usually use white undercoat, it was just too much work to paint bright colors over black undercoat so i had to stop using black, although green undercoat works fine with savage orcs biggrin.gif

Army Painter - Greenskin spray. I've maintained my "stellar" painting standard with coloured sprays.

Black undercoat for me! I use white spray sometimes, but since I did it on my Cockatrice I kind of don't dare to do use white anymore since it's hard to cover it in recesses and on textured surfaces like fur and feathers. There are still little white spots on some parts of the model...

I use grey. I can cheat and use it for NG robes and various other bits then.

I use black undercoat.
I use it because you kinda get the blacklining for free.

I will be trying grey undercoat in the near future because I've run out of black and I don't have time to pick up another spraycan right now. So I'll see how that goes.

Turelio opened up a thread so we can discuss what undercoats we regulalry use here. Now we can keep this thread on track. Thanks Turelio. smile.gif

However, for you Theo, I think you need to go to the Doctors if youve got white spots, just incase!
