The original deadline for photos was today, then the models would be mailed during the week.

However seeing as there's still quite a few people who have been lazy, (myself included), and have not posted completed, or WIP pictures, I've decided to extend the deadline for pictures by a week or two. I'm going to PM everyone on the list who has been quiet, to try and get people motivated and I'll try this week to get the basing done on the models that have arrived as seeing a nice looking bunch of Gobbos should also motivate people.

@Turelio, Borzag and Goofycabal - How are the command models coming along? I think once people see how awesome the command group is it will get everyone motivated to try and win this unit.

Still looking good, guys! Keep 'em coming.

Now all you slackers: just finish ONE SINGLE GOBBO. It doesn't have to be your all time best work, even though some do the little extra. My own models could have been painted better, but I am impatient and I believe they won't go in the front rank anyway.

I am very glad you said that. I would like to site my wife's annoying habit of giving birth to children which has somewhat curtailled my painting habits and a few other family issues but, basically, I've been a bit of a slacker....

I started painting mine tonight but as I'm away with work and an absence of cameras I won't have photos or be able to post it until the weekend. Not to mention that I opened my handy box of travel painting stuff to discover I've left all bar one green at home. I do have some purple and yellow so hould be able to concoct a decent-ish look but it'll be a one off based on the abomination that was goblin green! I still have no idea how it got in the box, I can't recall the last time I used the infernal colour.

Anyway I anticipate I should have between the hours of about 10 pm and 11pm each night to get something done. It'll be on the post on saturday, you have my word. Sadly no conversions or fancy base but it's a nice figure (I hope!).

To the slackers. Since this crazy comp started I have had 1 week of mostly 12 hour night shifts, as well as being part of looking after my family including two kids and then I jetted off to the other side of the world for a holiday. I managed to get not one, not two Gobbo's but two and a Snotling finished. I also ran the shaman conversion competition in between all that. Not only that but I was first to get the finished model in. I hope that example is motivation enough!

Now I am sweating my tits of just north of Manila waiting to see the results of all your hard work... Please don't make me wait long as I keep having to drink their red horse beer (7.2%) and fend off girls and I can't keep it up!

Snikpik, I wouldn't worry about fending off the girls. If you're like most wargamers I know you'll have a natural affinity for it

I still maintain that unless your wife actually gave birth last month then you have no excuse for being late. That's my line and I'm sticking with it.

And back on topic - lovely goblin Morkmillian, especially the freehand on the shield.

And to all the slackers out there, my wife has given birth in the last month and I've been able to paint 2 Goblins for this.
