I am still on the fence about spending the 50 USD on the OnG codex. I have a soft copy, but its just more convenient the other way. Ill probably pick one up so long as one is not being released soon.

Well considering that we've got an 8th ed book and 9 armies are still on 7th ed books I think that chances are pretty low we'll get a re-write anytime soon.

No, our armybook is still quite new. smile.gif The "soft copy" is the old book, wich is different and not part of the game anymore. Without the new one you can't play the army legally.

I think by "soft" copy he meant an electronic copy, not the softcover version of the book. And I agree, having the hard copy is worth the cost in convenience alone.

our new army book isnt even a year old and is extremely competetive, i think we wouldnt get another update until the fantasy rules update again
