That BSB looks wicked now with that big banner ! I thought it looked a bit "empty" before (though I didn't say it before ^^)

QUOTE (Wazoo @ Apr 27 2012, 09:50 PM)
What is the shield for?

Wazoo

The shield is for his equipment. He has a magic banner (of discipline) so can't have magic armour so now he has light armour and shield and thus a 6plus ward in combat. Not good but quite ok as the unit has nets an he hides in the second rank until the boss or the shaman gets killed.

[edit]
Remember that blurry pic from the previous page... he is coming along fine...

Thanx (:

I lowered him from his scenic base, I kept a plastic gobbo fore size reference so he got kinda big. here is a pic that shows him compares to some other gobbos and a orc, looks like he can take (and eat) the orc.

Wow, those tree trolls have come out really well. Good skills. Liking the BSB too, the banner must really stand out on the table top.

My general is finished.

Fencers Blades and Glitering scales so anything under WS5 needs 6's to hit him.

I redid his legs to shorten the model a bit more. this wokes but he is still a bit tall and so I'm not completely happy with the end result of the sculpt and I already started on a retry (with more plastic and less greenstuff.
But as I need him for a tournament this weekend I still painted him.
