I just saw this fellow over on Warseer and came here to post about him happy.gif

I've got plenty of Shaman models myself, but he's a real nifty looking Goblin indeed. The optional extras could make for some great conversion opportunities for other projects too biggrin.gif

Agreed, it's a nice model and the magic missile is a nice bit to have though I probably wouldn't use it on such a little guy (who is unlikely to have magic missiles anyway).

Also, if there's any character option we already had plenty of models for it's the Night Goblin Shaman so this one doesn't really add much to the GW range.

Agreed he looks really nice. Like the staff. smile.gif

Not so sure about the magic missile. It would be cool if you pin/magnetize it somehow so that you can bring it out first time he casts a missile spell. biggrin.gif

I ordered him the other day from the Warstore as I was ordering Skrigg Dwarfmocker. While there is a pretty wide range of night goblin shaman models that GW makes, I honestly don't care for very many of them. Browsing the GW webstore there are only two that I actually like.

There is this guy, who is an old-school favorite:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod1130266

And also this guy:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod1130268

But I use the second one as a hero since it looks more like he has a great weapon than a shaman staff. I also modified one of him into a standard-bearer. I also have a few of the older night goblin shaman from the 90s and the plastic one from Skulls Pass.

But my army is mainly comprised of goblins (and most of those are of the night goblin flavor) and has been for over a decade, so I don't think there is such a thing as too large a variety of models. The more the merrier - I will find something to do with them if they look cool.

Ha! Was my first idea too!
BTW I order the model in a short wile, I find it very good. No way too many ng shamans an this one has a very active pose, better than GW I think.

I ordered one a few weeks ago from the Warstore along with the Skrigg Dwarfmocker night goblin hero. Sadly, when it got here the shaman was mis-packed and instead of the shaman torso he had the torso for Skrigg Dwarfmocker. So I can't really comment on the quality of the model first-hand as all I have of him are the extra bits. That said, he does come with what appears to be a giant mushroom staff as an optional extra bit.

It has moulded teeth and eyesockets, if that is what you mean. Painting, washing, drybrushing can do the job.
