Wow! Just realised I haven't even looked in this thread since I started my new job back in February!
blush.gif
I'm now down to 11st 8lbs (73.5 kg)

I've been training erratically - breaks for public holidays (with a few eztra beers to make it worse) and family stuff - but I've mostly done the normal two nights a week teaching TKD (2 lessons a night) and one TKD training session a week.

I went to a seminar last month, with a Master (7th degree) about high-level competitive sparring techniques. It was 3 hours of really hard training!

I am doing ITF Taekwon-Do, I'm a 1st Degree Black Belt.
But I can see why Borzag may think WTF.... ninja.gif )

I'd like to join this great effort. Looking a bit too much like Grom and not enough like Grimgor. Cheese.gif

6'0'', 185 pounds. Believe that I'm actually close to a "healthy weight", however my waist is way too big and I believe that I clearly fall into what is being termed as "skinny fat" here in the USA (not sure if it's a common term elsewhere or not). It's not my weight itself as much as the type of weight I'm carrying.

I'm looking to lose about 6 inches around my true waist.

@ Kurgan: Those seminars are real good. I attended a regional training weekend last month. Day one was with Norway's only 8th degree, and the other was with the local seniors of 6th, 5th and 4th degree. I think it was more than 8 hours of training over two days.

@Gorbolg: Yeah, weight is one thing. I am quite healthy at my current weight, as much of it is bone and muscle mass (A little bit too round 'round the waist though). My main reason for wanting to go down is my bad knee.

Good you're working out with us Kera! How's life treating you?

For a quick update: I am sort of lazy nowadays (as those on fitocracy can see if they want) but I get a good exercise now and then. I am still improving in weight lifting, and today I did sets of 100 kilo barbell squats. I am up to 70 kilos for regular bench press training, but I will not be satisfied before I can lift my own bodyweight or thereabout.

I do way too little cardio exercise, but I eat less chocolate (and other candy) and drink less soda than before.

So, from this coming Monday I'll be getting back into a PROPER routine again biggrin.gif

I'm out of my regular routine for the summer, but I have been walking a lot. On Monday I climbed a mountain. 1100 meters up (that's about 3600 feet) in two hours.

And I am down 2 kgs, and in a much better physical condition than when I started. I run a lot more when I play football, and my knee doesn't bother me at all. smile.gif
