Give the Wyvern an extra attack.
Maybe have a 3rd lordchoice, the step above a Warboss. 300p or something, and a real beast. Warlord? Dunno.Theo |

like others have said i dont agree with most the points.
giant cheaper - i agree with this - but not drasticly. snotlings - i never use these guys so i assume they are not worth the points. squig hoppers - ive had terrible and amazing uses of these guys in 8th. my only gripe would be that a squig hopper is 1 more point than a squig + a handler. does the hoppers special rules make them 1 point better? 3D6 movment and skirmishers? well skimish isnt as good as it was and 3d6 movment can go either way. i agree with it should be 2 6's insted of 3 since ive never had the impact hits of them. but other than that id feel like the army was OP if all those point reductions came into play. i already often double tripple and quadruple check my points because a lot of the time my army is huge compared to my oppononts - but i soon learn when they are beaten down - and thats how og play - support over just head on charge (even tho i alwyas use head on charge tactic:)) my final point would be agreeing with noisy assasin - why cant night goblin hero shamans have a mount - a ngob sham on a squig would be pure awsome. we must be one of the largest armys when it comes to all the defferant species of creatures we can field |

I played with the Giant yesterday and me and my group came to the decision that the Giant really should be T6. He would be perfect then.

The one thing, YES only one thing I would change is animosity, in so far as units that do have the animosity rule do not test for it within 8 inches of a visible enemy (to the front and not obscured) the amount of times I've been hamstrung by it over the years......
Apart from that well, 12 point Giants that count as core, Spearchukka's that don't fall to bits. Units of Grimgor ( courtesy of the Chaos Dwarf cloning labs)Snotlings should be like bat swarms in the V.C book: makes opponent strike last, representing the Snotlings swarming over the enemy. |

That could, possibly, be a universal Swarm rule.
I think Snotties could probably have a more unique rule.Theo |

I actually have to agree on this one. That would really level the playing field. He would still be just as easy a target for cannons, but he would be much more resilient to S4 attacks. |

Well, fluff wise they're great mimics so what about, if they're within 6 inches of a unit they mimic that, if the unit is running, they run. If the unit is ItP, then they are too. If a unit of Orcs doesn't run (6" or less distance from Snotties) due to gobbo's running (say 8 inches away) then the Snotlings don't run. Plus get rid of the unstable rule, as they mimic Da Big Boyz....??? Just ideas. |
