I was a key-timer in Bristol from 1997 to 98 while I was in my second year at the university of the West of England (UWE). I left to work in a supermarket because they gave staff discounts on things you could eat, rather than staff discount on stuff you got instead of eating! I worked at Games Day 1998 - amazing fun but mental and exhausting!

I've been in the Edinburgh and Preston stores but not Stirling yet. cool.gif

What campus were you on? I was at Bower Ashton doing Fine Art. I stayed in Bristol until the end of 2000, so we were definitely in the city at the same time.

@Gruntfuttock - I second the call for photos of your Waaagh! wink.gif

The Edinburgh store is the only GW one I've ever been in. That was back in.....95? Here in the US, the nearest GW store is a 7 hour drive

Heh, I bought my first Warhammer models (Goblins and high elves in the 4th(?) edition box) in the Edinburgh GW shop around 1994... Fun.

Welcome in any case to Da Warpath, probably the best (warhammer) online community!
