funny you mention the fort.
was doing some work on it the other day.

ive been putting it of because i wasnt happy with hte tops of the walls and towers so ive been trying to come up with a solution.
so i got a load of coffee stirrers and began chopping,
they arnt tuck to the wall yet and i still need to carve the bricks into the wall but this is what ive come up with.

any suggestions would be great and im trying to not make this O&G but a more generic castle.

ok so as usual this is going ery slowley - but a little bit done.
its all just WiP stuff tho - but need to keep this alive!

firstly 2 of oglah's are nearly done - mainly skin left to do.

user posted image

only the skin eyes and teeth left on these guys - and i know i forot the mold lines on the bows!!!
user posted image

some crew - mainly base coated.
user posted image

gobbo boss.
user posted image

finally stuck together and undercoated another load of goblins.
a lot of these were salvaged from an amazing deal i got for a bunch of wolf riders,
id wanted this for the wolfs and had to rip the gobbos off and detach the legs etc.
user posted image

a few other things ive gotten undercoated or started base coating.
user posted image

and almost finally - ive started making groms base.
its 6 cavelry greenstuffed and glued together.
user posted image

user posted image

i got grom 2nd hand and didnt realise the metal was slightly bent - which ment the bar didnt sit flat accros all the wolfs - it was really high on 1 end.
so this levels it out for all the wolfs aswell as the satisfaction of killing a humie.

and lastly just for show - i had 1 the orc i got a while back and had been trawling ebay for the gobbo and sham - and finally got them the other week!
just love all 3 of these models.

user posted image

so not anythign finished but im trying to get stuff done.
i have a lot on the table but i figured basecoating is easy so i can do that if im not in the mood for the finer side of painting - which is what i think is slowing me down when i feel i cant be bothered to do that complex part etc.

anyway i think thats my longest post yet - hopfully more soon!

*edit* - how do you change the smaller writing under the main name of your forums thread on the army blog screen.
thanks in advance.

ty morton.

i know they are not pro standard etc but im over the moon with the actual wolfs.
as always i spend about a month just staring at the models deciding what colours will be best.

so its great to have a scheme im happy with means i can speed up my work and all those wolfs dont look so intimidating on the desk. - already 5 more wolfs halfway done.

and yea i dont know what it is but i just love all the models from the 90's
maybe its nostalgia.
but i just love the faces the most!

I just had a look back through your entire blog, it has loads of interesting stuff, cool units, interesting conversions, terrain, etc.

Those wolf rider models are so cool, in fact the amount of common Gobbos in your army now is very impressive, it looks like you could run at least 1500pts of pure common Goblins.

Keep up the good work!

thanks for all the positive comments guys smile.gif
is always really motivatiing.

i plan to post my list before the battle just to see what you guys think -
i was considering fitting as many common gobs in as i can but the person im playing against is a good player - so im going to have to pull everythign i can out against him i think smile.gif

im not sure if he will come as empire, dogs of war or warriros of chaos. probally not warriors tho.

he usually fields a unit of 10 heavy cavelry and 2 - 3 units of fast cavelry.
1 - 2 units of xbowmen is expected.
as is 1 - 2 cannons.
if he is empire there will deffo be a volly gun to.

so any ideas would be great,

im currently thinking boosting the ccup unit up to 40.
takign 20 - 25 big uns savage or not.

and thena giant to draw fire away form them 2 units smile.gif

any ideas would be great - lik ei said ill post a first draft of my list at some point smile.gif
thanks again!
