Da Git's Gits: Da Burning Skull Clan

Thanks! I have painted most of it, but it isn't done yet. I'll see about posting more pictures soon. Maybe I'll even finish it.

Come to think of it, this blog actually helps my painting efforts. Often when I get a comment about an unfinished model I try to finish it pretty soon after. Thank you all for your help!

Less than three months after my previous update: Here's my almost finished Unit Filler Competition entry:

It can be used in either Savage Orc Boar Boyz, or Savage Orc infantry.




Keep in mind that I still have to do at least one or two layers of highlighting and the warpaint.

If you take a look at this model (which isn't done yet) and my older ones (first post or CCUP Git link in my signature), I think I have improved a bit the last year.

Oh absodefinitely. You started out like we all start out, eager but not very good. Now you're on a great level, producing great-looking minis. Be happy that it's happened so fast!

You surely have improved. I've just checked the whole log and there's definitely and rewardingly improvement in your painting style.

I haven't done overly much on this army lately, other than my shaman for the competition. I have based about 35 different models. Some greenskins, some wood elfs. I am also working on finishing some New Year's resolution points, and my Night Goblins are high up on that list.

I've been slack too, but also in keeping up with others stuff.
Great to see your competition-entry painted. Looks great! And a very fine tribute to the CCUP.

Great job. I love the detailing on the weapons, also all the spare accessories added on the backs.

p.s. Just noticed you forgot to paint the studs on the leather armour, that means you still have hours of work ahead! (well maybe 5 minutes).

I didn't forget... it's leather studs! Or wood...

Truth is I am far too impatient and saw that my painting was ok and probably slightly better than last year's contribution, so I didn't bother.

cb_rex can put the guys in the middle of the unit, or something.
