My Goblins are sneaky indeed, after backstabbing Solo they got some company...




And finally an Orc who wants to be more than he is... He killed a local chap who fooled him in poker, and after burying him he wrote "Chuck Norris" on his gravestone... Why? Because he wanted to tell his mates he killed him! Ridiculous, right? Everyone knows Chuck Norris cannot be killed.

Yesterday night I painted the Wyvern (*krhm* Griffon). Here's some (bad quality) pics of her.








I painted the feathers with traditional brown and bone -style, but the animal side was painted in panther theme. I thought tiger stripes would be a bit too colorful and happy-looking for my Warboss. I had great fun painting this model, and I'm especially happy how the feathers and eyes turned out. But I think the Warboss himself needs some details, he looks pretty poor on the back of the Griffon.

I got something painted today... A Night Goblin Bigboss with great axe and double swords! I used the Bigboss model, except I cut off the thingy on his back and added the swords. Don't care about the white thing on the blood, it's just the gloss which wasn't perfectly dry when I took the pictures.




What do you think about him? The next model to paint is an another Bigboss.

paint job on the warboss on wyvfon is fantastic. Although an orc on a griffon takes some getting used to.

Thanks! I think I really have to repaint the Boss, many people (including me) have thought it's not on the same level with another models... I'm not sure where to start thou. Maybe the model is too dark and misses some bright colors (like red).

But anyway, Gork'll fix it. I'll send the new pics tomorrow.

And BTW, I'm from Finland.

ok, I asked because of the red, yellow, black collorsheme of the NG unit.

Normally i wouldn't have thought anything behind that collorsheme, but a friend of mine had last weeken been rambling on about some Napoleonic Prussian Freikorps with a red, yellow and black uniform that gave its collors to the german flag.

Looking good, I really like the feathers on the griffon's front part, they look great!

Here's something I painted yesterday... An another Bigboss!

The one on the right is a bit out of skin color theme, I'll fix dat today.


Then the new rider of my Griffon.


Yesterday I bought three Tomb King chariots, I'm going to turn them into Wolf Chariots as the metallic ones are pretty expensive and I want some converting (also a few Skeletons and Skeleton steeds are welcome to my unit fillers )! The first chariot is almost ready now, and so is the base. Only the wolves are under the work, I have to strip the paint first. I think the chariot is built and spray painted tonight, after I come from bowling.

The next update is a couple of Wolf Riders (the another one is already painted!).

Lovely blog skarsnik the "woven" is an expert paintjob. Well done!

On the skin color of the goblins: why change it? There is no reason at all that all greenskins should be the same green color. Diversity creates dynamic looking units and make models look individual.
