I've recently started using Twitter to micro-blog my hobby activities. I try to posting things that are a little different from the stuff I post (and cross-post) on forums but I do post links (to here mostly) when I put photos of something online. Most of my tweets so far have been updates on whatever hobby project I'm currently working on or games I've just played, so there isn't normally much to show but you can get an idea of how scatter-gun my approach to projects is!
You can "follow me" here: https://twitter.com/#!/warbosskurgan I follow a lot of the Hobby-news listings (like GW, BoLS, Tabletop News and the Animosity Campaigns news feed) it's very hand for keeping an eye on new stuff without having to trawl through half a dozen websites on my phone while on the bus to work. I'm on there, primarily for the sole reason of following the Animosity Campaigns feed. I'm already following you WBK, but I can add Turelio now as well
