Does the Squiggoth fit on the same size base as the Arachnarok spider? If so I might just loot this idea for my all Night Goblin army.

saw the squigoth which looks great and then looked back and saw your effigy of firey awsomeness!!! love all the chariots to. were they all made with the siege tower kit? keep up the good work. |

hi thanks for the comments, the squigoth fits on the Arock base perfectly yeah the seige tower kit is awesome you get loads of sprues

hi, just thought i would update this blog with some photos of my latest units
two squig hordes which have been speed painted for some recent tournaments   next up is gonna be another squig horde and a unit of 3 squig chariots cheers |

hi thanks for the comments, here is some pics of the army i took to a local tournament last weekend
it had a unit of 30 savage orc big uns, 2 squig hordes, 30 arra boys, a level 4 orc shaman, level 4 night goblin shaman, 2 units of 3 wolf chariots a single wolf chariot a doom diver a rock lobber 2 spear chukkas and a pump wagon, black orc bsb and a wolf rider boss   i got a stupid sized collection i am currently trying to split it into 3 seperate 2400 point armies a night goblin army a common goblin army and an all orc army iknow its daft to avoid the syneregy of orcs and goblins. i just got a new KR multicase system and iam boxing all the models so i can just take the boxes off the shelf and put them in the backpack i can get 60 squigs and 20 night goblins just in one tray its awesome. this whole army fits in 2 boxes. the tournament was good fun but i got to fight 2 games against the new vampires and didnt have the tools to take them down so its back to the drawing board as far as list building goes. what i can take from it is that every block that can have a character in it needs one with a magic weapon damn spirit hosts gipped my chariots, my wolf boss should of had the shrieking blade 30 squigs kill 30 great weapon grave guard everytime though  This post has been edited by swampy on Mar 5 2012, 08:17 PM |

Wow! A lot of squigs......
I like the paint job and do about the same, myself. Not even half as many, though. I LOVE the Squiggoth! I've always wanted to turn one into a Fantasy monster. It looks really good. Yeah, the Siege Tower has great bitz for that. You really did well adding in all the extra stuff. I love it as an Arachnarok. I mean, I love the A-spider, but I love the idea of a Squiggoth instead. You did a great job with it. I have never seen pics of the Squiggoth anywhere else than on the FW website, so it's good to see it done Fantasy style... |

cheers for the comments boyz, i seen dis new snotty wagon flying round da drops today heres some pics wot i took wiv moi camera
i got some time off work so been making some models for my army to play with. iam still trying to model all the new units in the book and liked the idea of a flying pump wagon. the wings came from a star wars EWOK hang glider from 1986 you can get them easily on ebay for a couple of quid and would also make good sails for your orcy ships      i am thinking about making another one, what do you reckon? cheers This post has been edited by swampy on Apr 6 2012, 10:46 AM |
