A lot of the rumors are true. Overall I like it, but a lot of tough changes to swallow.
A ton of little things changed as well. Magic had the largest overhaul. A lot of rules that weren't as clear as we wished in 7th are much more defined. Irresistible = unstoppable plus Miscast. Miscast table is brutallllll! If you fail to cast a spell that wizard cannot cast more this turn. Bound spells use power dice from the pool but failures don't break a wizards concentration. A lot of spells have focus or whatever to them, so they can be cast at a higher casting value for increased affect. Only one of each spell in your army unless it's the signature spell of the lore. Each lore has features to it affecting the spells. Spells are still picked randomly. My Blurb on DT Ask questions to help me jog my memory! Wow, not a lot of responses... Yes, this was me reading the actual rulebook. I have a picture on my phone if you need proof, but it's not that big a deal by now. Most shops should have a preview copy by now.
