So there hasn't been a mini-exchange in 2 years (at least from looking in the hobby forum) we should do another one...
I'll admit I am not much of a painter/modeler but I would be interested in being involved. Plus with a bunch of campaigns running this year (T&G on W-E, A5) it gives people motivation to convert something up for someone and then send it off. It would be great to do one again, but the problem is that some people never get there model.

Yeah the issue always is that some people sign up in a fit of enthusiasm then vanish, but putting on restrictions to vets only is harsh on the genuine newer guys who want to get involved. I'd be willing to do a mini though.

Well people not getting a model is always a risk... but if people are willing to take part I would say for the most part that everyone can trust everyone else.
Like draig, if we do this I will do a model.... |

For those of us who are new, what does this mini exchange involve? Painting and converting a model then swapping it with the person you are paired to?

Prety much... There are a few rules but generally you just paint up or convert a model for someone and ship it off. Its all determined by random draw which person you are paired with.

Howdy
I am perfectly fine with this. I recieved my figure (a great set of card playing gobbos), sent one, and then did a second to cover the misses. The only change I would have this year is to have five or six painters ready to go, that ALREADY have a finished figure to send to cover problems. Oh, and I am in! peace  |
