Thanks to everyone ^^
@azhagmorglum: yes, I decided to combine them cause they fit really good together. I like the 6th edition ones because they're well characterized as "savages", and they're not simply naked normal orcs, but I like the 8th ed ones cause their mad poses can break the semi-monopose metal ones smile.gif I also have a unit made entirely of 5th edition orcs, but I decided to not combine them to those units, cause they're really smaller than the current ones biggrin.gif

@kees: Wurrzag's mount was a project that I decided to enter in the competition, I still have the photos with the boar stuff ready to be assembled and with the words "Da Warpath zoggin' rocks" xD but the actual shaman model arrived to late (damn italian post service ç__________ç), so I decided to wait for the next contest tongue.gif

@cb_rex: thanks, with the new models is quite hard to recognize the boss, it has not a real characterization, so I decided to go for the classical "I wil dip ma face into da paint!!!" approach xD

Very nice. Dark and gritty as orcs should be and I agree that the tatoos work really well.

Waaaagh!

Hello, very beautiful models!

the latter prefer the wyvern you realized, I too have made a change montandoci a scimano .. that is what you put on boar: The colors are fantastic, I loved the snow leopard, perhaps you steal the color scheme. the wyvern and I do not like boar saddles .. but personal tastes!
good painting of savages, I see that you're getting better, great!

Thank you all guys, I'm really happy you appreciate my models ^^
I managed to win an AWESOME lot on ebay: it included all the (quite rare) gorkamorka nobz (check them out, they're amazing models), included the limited one and also a 40k warboss, that I will convert to be the champion of the unit biggrin.gif I won also some old metal nobz. They will be my second unit of Big 'uns (yes, I know I can take only one, but my army doesn't follow the rules tongue.gif) and the limited model will be my long awaited BSB biggrin.gif
They're currently on the assembly and conversion phase, but yesterday I completed a ogre unit filler for them. I decided to put some armor pieces to make him fit better with the big 'uns. It's not completed, I have to remodel some muscles with GS and add some details to the base and to the ogre himself. Hope you like him tongue.gif

AH! In the lot there were also some Giant Black Orcs: three of them are from citadel and two are from marauder ^^ They're awesome vintage models. They came already painted and I won't strip them for now (I need to find the rest of them before it, so I can make an entire unit ^^)

Totally! I like how they look like traditional orcs ^^

Anyway tonight I've been doodling on the ipad and things like this came out. I call it Orc's creed. I tried to keep the typical assassin outfit, but I wanted to show the greenskin influence tongue.gif Maybe I'll turn it in a proper painting some day xD

Also yesterday I finally completed the giant you can see at the start of my plog, it was waiting completion from something like 2008. I decided to not restore him completely, cause it has a memory value xD Also finished the musician of the first big'uns unit. I will show them later smile.gif

I started working on the champion of my second Big'uns unit biggrin.gif

He has huge tusks, so I named him Kolonel Hathi, cause I love both the Jungle book Kipling's tales and the omonymous disney movie tongue.gif
I gave him an assault pet-squig, and to remain the same theme, it will be a melanistic squig and will be called Bagheera tongue.gif
Don't look at the paintjob, it's a second hand warboss and came already painted. It will be redone to fit my style wink.gif
I hope you like him ^^

Which limited one? DOn't tell me it's the racing nob from a games day 14+ years ago !!
I've been trying to get my hand on that model on ebay, but they are very rare and quite pricey too.

A picture of your acquisition would be cool. I don't mind unpainted models ^^

thank you all for the feedback ^^

@Azhagmorglum: no, it's not the Formula Ork one, it's the gorkamorka nob, this one (casual photo found on google):
user posted image
The lot consisted in 10 metal nobz, both from WH40K and Gorkamorka (those one are quite rare), 1 warboss (the one I converted), 5 marauder/citadel giant black orcs and the limited nob smile.gif
Everyone of them was nicely converted and painted, they were used as a black orc unit by the previous owner. I'm quite sad to strip them and to re-convert all those models to my style, but I don't want models painted by other people in my army xD
Also the limited one was converted, but it's a good thing, I wanted him to be converted to my BSB, so buying him already partially modified has spared me from the pain of "ruining" a limited and valuable model tongue.gif I will make some photos when I finish to convert them all ^^ The giant black orcs are already on the thread biggrin.gif

@Morten C: AHAHAHAHAHAHAH this made my day laugh.gif
I will name one of my biggest squigs Louis in his honour u.u
