Nice wolfriders you have there, I really like them. Good luck with painting the giant:)

So I've been working on my giant for most of the last couple of weeks. I am putting it in the competition, so I can't show any pics just yet, but they'll be up soon.

I have had some time to work on one of my pump wagons, so I'll try and put some WIP shots up tomorrow morning. biggrin.gif

So here we go. I finished up one of my pump wagons. It is pretty stock-standard GW, but I like how it came out.... plus, snotlings are a lot of fun to paint.

Let me know what you think

Love the pump wagon...chaotic, ramshackle and disorganised, in true orcy fashion, and yet still very nicely painted!

Heh, you do your night gobboes as I do mine (red hoods on black robes), although yours are far better painted. Me, I've barely progressed to putting highlights on rank and file tongue.gif

Keep up the good work biggrin.gif

Thanks Kozzag. biggrin.gif

I guess I have to wait until the painting competition is over to post my most recent work, but I think I am getting back to my BSB and squig hoppers next.

Pics to come soon (I hope) biggrin.gif

Nice looking pump wagon. I'm currently trying to assemble two 5th ed pumpwagons and they are a nightmare to put together, so can I ask how you managed to attach the snotlings (unless they fall off after five minutes like mine angry.gif )

@grakhnar: I just super glued them into place and made sure that they have at least 2 contact points each on most of them. I haven't had any problems with them yet, but I am pretty careful about only holding it by the base. I did pin them when they were getting painted, so I guess you could pin them down to the pump wagon if you were really having some trouble with them

Hope that helps biggrin.gif

Well pump wagon #2 (the free one from GW biggrin.gif ) is finished. I haven't decided what to add and how to rearrange the snotlings to make it lookg a little different from wagon #1.

Just took the pics, so here they are.

Any ideas or inspiration on how to change this one up a bit would be welcome biggrin.gif

i dunno how well this would work but you could try turning it around and moving the spikes to in front of the small wheel. probably look naff, but its and idea. Also have you used much plastic card?

Well I finally am employed again, so I haven't had much time in the last 2 weeks to paint. (Also, I keep painting my friends stunties for him.... aren't I nice biggrin.gif )

On the plus side, I am able to post the pics of my giant now. It did not turn out as clean as I wanted, but this is the largest model I have ever done, and I learned a lot from it.

Thanks Slapah.

With any luck, I'll have the snotlings for pump wagon #2 done soon. Also working on the wolves for my second unit. After that, I will finally tackle my big blocks of orc boys..... I hope biggrin.gif

Great looking stuff. I agree with Slapah comments on your giant.
