Well, we need a new one.
 To start us off; Anyone else been on a big thrash kick lately? Megadeth, first four Metallica albums, Voivod, Annihilator, Anthrax, Testament... and so on? Anybody but me, that is, as I'm always on a thrash kick. Edit-> Balz, don't start the "That isn't Thrash" argument again, because it is. Just because you never used the term, doesn't mean it wasn't used in other places. I've seen more than a few copies of liner notes from albums for these bands - original liner notes, that is - refer to themselves as Thrash Metal. Voivod in particular. i think i have to raise my hand on that question
 i'm listening a lot to thrash since this christmas. i wanted to turn back a little bit to my musical roots, because i started with that stuff... what i like most is the stuff from mid- and late-90's. i have to admit that some stuff i know only by name [like megadeath]. but i used to listen to that, i only forgot how it sounds... i think i was about 8 when i started listening to that music  that's a very long time ago, so i can't remember everything but what i like the most is Venom and Sodom |
